  1. Stu we've got a lion head they are cool, you need to keep their eyes clean as their hair tends to irritate it. If i were you id keep him in your new extension, so that its not too hot but not outdoors. They are generally fine with kids but make sure youve got his claws clipped as they scratch a bit otherwise. Youll need to block hideyholes behind the telly etc to make recovering him easier and theres also a spray you can use on wires to stop them biting them, dont let them near clothes though ours has eaten our washing on more than one occasion. If they have a litter tray in their cage and you pot it on the floor when you let them out in the house they will normally go back to it to doo their poos. If they wee on the carpet get it up quick, as the stuff is noxouis and probable very bad for kids, also clean the litter tray every day and the whole cage one a week or their pee will stink and upset their eyes.
  2. Dave your only in Leicester, inovite is based in coventry so why buy them from a third party? Inovit International Ltd Unit A, Torrington Avenue, Temple Industrial Park, Coventry, West Midlands CV4 9AP Tel: 0845 6076552 Classification: Wheels
  3. After doing that lift id get used to people meaning well in petrol stations telling you your bonnets open
  4. You have checked the obvious havent you? If the fluid level is on the limit it will be off sometimes and on sometimes like when cornering and you did say it came on whilst indicating. Otherwise check the speed sensor wires arent burning on the exhaust.
  5. Watch the credits to fast and furious 1 theres a shot for about 20 secs of the reflection of a girl dancing, the reflection is on a 300zx rear centre panel. Apparently the car was ruined during filming this it didnt make it into the final cut, but im not sure how true it is.
  6. As above, the rad cap allows the water to dump into the expansion tank when a certain pressure is reached, also the top hose should have no pressure as the engine cools as the water system goes into a vacuum then the pin in centre of the rad cap allows water to be drawn back into the system from the expansion tank with the vacuum.
  7. If shes just passed her test get her a little shitbox of a car to start, then once shes bumped and scraped it to death and got a bit of driving experience, buy her something newer. You can also use any minor parking mishaps in a cheap car to your advantage by telling her cos of that she can never ever drive the zed!!!
  8. Id of paid to see that!!!:rofl::rofl:
  9. Anyone know any good reasonably priced insurance companies that do trade policies? (with phone number be nice!) My best quote so far is £1200 thats with me and the mrs with a £15k claim limit (the mrs is 22 and its got to have her on it too!!)
  10. Q. Can A Bloke Get Away With Driving An MX5 ? A. No My mate has two and he looks bent as fook in both!!!
  11. Yep, all the bolt holes line up, as they are basically the same engine, it looks like they just modded the design a bit for the increased flow on the Z32. I can put up all the aftermarket part numbers if that helps.
  12. All the best Vinz. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  13. Just to dispell this mis information. The pump on the left is a Z32 one. The pump on the right is a Z31 one.
  14. Lets hope its not a Z31 one!!!!
  15. Just sussed it, the one on the right is a fookin Z31 pump (ADN19112) and no wonder its not right, its the wrong fookin part!!!!!
  16. I agree fully with you, but its a very difficult thing to prove, just dont want it to all go pear shaped and cost you more in the end which if you lose a legal battle you will. Have they made no goodwill offer at all?
  17. You are right it is, but the air goes back up the pipe as far as i can remeber.
  18. None taken, Dunno what that pump is that Jeff has got in that picture but ive got the picture of the Blue Print (ADN19135)one on my parts system and it has the same amount of teeth as the o.e one and has the grooves in exactly as o.e. I cant post the pic up as im not sub'd but if anyone want to post it up i can email it to them. Ive had alot of dealings with bluprint over the years and struggle to belive thats one of their pumps.
  19. Its air coming back up the intake i belive and the cone filter acting as a big trumpet, you still get it with stock filters but the air box muffles the sound.
  20. You can take your car for a service somewhere and they can report it as all fine as it may well be at the time, 10 miles down the road the engine could go bang due to something unrelated. There are alot of grey areas on car related problems v's garages, its difficult for a garage to know where to draw the line they could recommend a new water pump, but as they are that far in the cam belt might be and idea, then may as well do a thermostat too before you know its a 60k service and your paying hundreds of pounds to fix a viscous coupling. Im not defending z tech, i had a very unsatisfactory plenum bypass done there many years ago, paid about £300 for it to include gaskets etc and ill eat my shoes if they took the plenum off at all, i just chose not to go back again.
  21. An induction kit provides very little benefit without other mods, if your running bigger boost and a different ecu map then yes it makes a difference, but on a stock system its a bit of a chocolate teapot. Plus if your still using std recircs youll suffer goose honk too.
  22. Regardless of what "brand" of water pump you get they will likely all be NPW pumps in the box, in my time in parts i have opened the boxes on QH, First Line, NPW, ADL Blueprint and genuine nissan 300zx water pumps and they ALL have NPW stamped into the housing, becouse they are about the only people who make it. Nissan dont commission a factory to build water pumps for all their cars, their design people give their requirements to a manufacturer who does it for them, and after a few years Nissan's licence on the product lapses and the manufacturer is allowed to sell it on the aftermarket, then they are bought up by the aftermaket wholesalers like adl, qh fai etc, none of these companies manufacture them they just buy them in volume and brand box them and sell them on. And because the car is so neiche there is little point of anyone trying to copy it with, cos it probably not worth the tooling costs. I know there are some cheap nasty aftermarket parts about, but on something as uncommon as a 300 water pump you cant really go wrong with any of the bigger names.
  23. I set up my own business about 6 months ago and it is a real struggle, although we are getting by the mrs has had to get a full time job whilst i juggle the baby and the shop. Im sure the motor trade will pick up soon though and if we weather this storm, then we can get through anything. In a way its good to set up in a recession because you expect it to be slow to start with so its no suprise when it is.
  24. Lots of the cost of the parts on some of these cars make it difficult to justify fixing them, if you take a 3 year old mondeo as an example, worth 3 grand if your lucky, new clutch and dual mass flywheel is going to set you back not far off a 800 quid, and a diesel pump on alot of these is about a grand, so when the warranty runs out the value plummets.
  25. 068 or 088 will both fit and the standard battery cover will fit on these as they are exactly the same dimensions as the oem nissan one. You can use an 096 but its about an inch shorter in height and an inch longer in legnth which means you will have to take out the plastic protective tray under the battery to make it sit right. Splitfyr3 halfords probably gave you an 069 as all the catalogues list an 069 but it should say 068 only difference being the terminal layout.
