I didnt read it properly either, unless it was a hard knock i doubt youd of knackered a shock, i reckon you must of bent or broke something, if you jack it up and give the wheel a wiggle you should find some movement, if not it might be a case of compaing it with the good side. Good luck

I had to keep my speed up on the way back from mattys today as it started raining when my roof was off, stay over 50 and the rain doesnt come in, made putting it in the garage when i got home tricky though!!! Off topic a bit i know. But if ive got the roof off i leave the temp on 10 with no aircon demister etc.

Theyve all got a good 90deg of turn in them, so i reckon its just paranoia, that plus driving with the roof off makes it sound louder and ive spent the last fortnight pottering about in a rover!! Rear Shox is the likeley culpret, having said that on my mot the guy pointed out a little play in one of the rear wheels, its the top bush directly behind the wheel. Didnt notice anything till he pointed it out, now i can somehow feel it!:confused:

Can you over tighten/tension the aux belts?? Ive tesioned them all so you can give em half a twist, but im sure theyre making more noise than before, not a worrying noise just sounds very windy under there, or will the quieten down in a bit or am i being paranoid again?

ive got an cheap, snooper £99 at halfords one ( i got it for £20 from a man in a van, so im not complaining!) but it goes off for anything, good thing is you know youre approaching a traffic light from 500 yards away. The only one time it has ever done me any good was on the way to one of the slogh meets on the M40, i was doing about a ton and it started beeping, i thought it was a bit unusual for it to beep at all on a motorway so i kerbed my speed, next bridge had coppers on it with their zapper in hand. So its earned its £20 id say, plus they look the part in a zed!

Well chuffed, the car flew throgh its MOT this morning, the only thing they had to alter was the headlight allignment as they were too low!! and i put them down for the mot as i normally have em pointing high!!!! £3 a side they charge for that!!! £6 for two turns of a 10mm spanner, now thats easy money!!!! Still the MOT was only £20 so £26 all in is a fookin bargain. Right, time to put my illeagal plate back on!!!

My labour charges are only £5 an hour too........ shame it takes me a week to change a water pump though!!!!!
