  1. Ironic really as this is the mildest Winter in my life time.
  2. Series six "300zx" model (as opposed to vR or vS) seems to be rare! Very nice car anyway.
  3. How do you have automatic climate control? Never mind - looks like it's the version R and version S that were manual only.
  4. OEM front bumpers are said to be very difficult to align so I can't imagine it's any better!
  5. Tyres won't fail the NCT due to age, just a warning to replace them. So that's a benefit. If you want to replace them afterward, Potenza RE series are priced reasonably enough (got a pair for about €280 fitted) and have surprisingly good grip in the wet... I've got them on stock wheels so dunno if you'll find them for yours or not.
  6. Probably. Just wondering in case they're part of the leak issue.
  7. Thanks, very helpful. Any idea on the bolt sizes or part number?
  8. In the new year my next job is to get my AJ4 series six spoiler resprayed and refitted. Its lacquer has long since been defeated by the Japanese sun, and the left mounting is probably the source of a very slight boot leak. Few questions on the spoiler: Bolts needed? Is there anything else holding it on, such as glue or clips? Anything else worth mentioning?
  9. Welcome to the club.
  10. Very nice, and I don't usually like modified Z cars.
  11. How much did you pay for all of the bulbs, roughly? The OEM ones are fairly expensive. Zone do a nice LED kit but it would probably still come to about €100 with shipping.
  12. No no, I think he just means they build the car in-house for you. You're not allowed bring it to them. One Fairlady Z please!
  13. Online reviews (like this one) suggest they are, but if the ones you're buying came from a different market they could be approved but still missing the stamp. Probably best to ask. Also, I'm still running two tyres without an E-mark and have an NCT. ;)
  14. 19/12/2015 - 1997 Z32 version S (slicktop)
  15. The clocks have been replaced though - it appears to be a JDM model with a speedo in MPH.
  16. TT should also have a spoiler It's had the clocks changed or modified so that could explain why there's no boost gauge.
  17. Yeah, that works but it's a bit of a problem if you have to send it back to Apple for any reason!
  18. "In computing, an emulator is hardware or software that enables one computer system (called the host) to behave like another computer system (called the guest). An emulator typically enables the host system to run software or use peripheral devices designed for the guest system." Basically, it means I can play old Nintendo games and such on my phone :w00t:
  19. Have to agree about iPhones, it's shit how it's so locked down and you pretty much HAVE to use iTunes. Much happier now with my Android phone, playing old games on emulators and copying music and pictures as I like! The iPhone did have the better camera though.
  20. The old man has his Sierra Cosworth since before I was born! Not sure if it was new or nearly new. Must be great to own a car for that long.
  21. Bought the car in April and got it in June, so I've had it about six months. I've wanted one since the late 90s though!
  22. TT has a slightly different gearbox. I think you can fit it to NA without too much trouble.
  23. €15,000 maybe? Not sure really as it depends on the car
  24. Auctions mate. Going by dealer prices it's usually a minimum of about €12,000 for one like those.
