  1. 28/01/2016 - 1992 GCZ32 All it's missing is a pair of nostrils!
  2. The Recaros fitted to the Evo 4 are the same ones used in the Z32 version R. The ones from the 5/6 look a bit bulkier though. Are Recaro rails universal?
  3. The high spoilers can be nice too.
  4. Seats look familiar.
  5. You can however buy rubber treatment, which is supposed to keep it moist and in good condition. Might be worth a go for the future.
  6. Fitted my dashcam. It's concealed behind the rear view mirror as that's about the only good place on such a big windscreen. Just need to figure out a way to tidy the cable now. Haven't removed the boot lock yet as it's raining as usual...
  7. Thanks that should do me. Went out to remove it earlier but it got dark very quickly.
  8. Looking for an idiot-proof guide to removing/adjusting the boot lock as the key won't turn in it most of the time. This guide isn't doing me much good without the pictures. Releases fine by lever.
  9. Worth mentioning that modification is a big part of classic car culture in Japan. Just look at Bosozoku.
  10. As an extreme example, all of the VAG drivers going to Japfest are just plain annoying.
  11. Agreed with Mondo. I wouldn't modify a Z myself - other than small changes like those he's mentioned - but there are some quite heavily modified ones out there that I like. If I should find myself with €30,000 to spare in the near future, I'd be buying the cleanest, most original Z you've ever seen and not even an aftermarket bulb would be used, but that's just my preference. It's still nice to see a bit of variety!
  12. 22/01/2016 - 1995 CZ32 version S High performance slicktop by the looks of it.
  13. 22/01/2016 - 1995 GZ32 Tastefully modified with some version R parts.
  14. The missus quit a couple of years ago using the eCigs. Cut down gradually over a few months - went really well for her. May have helped that she developed an allergy to them towards the end though
  15. Looks like a lovely dog but I definitely think two is enough. There's an American lad in my company that had about eight German Shepherds at one stage - not for me!
  16. Yeah, the back bolts are where I had the problem. Although I have a 2+2 so it could be better or worse. I don't think Recaros were offered on any 2+0 model - do the rails still fit correctly?
  17. Did you find them difficult to fit? I had a pain trying to get the seats out to swap sides!
  18. 21/01/2016 - 1997 GZ32 version R This must be the early "version R" that doesn't appear to offer anything other than confetti Recaros. No idea if it got the handling or rigidity improvements.
  19. Not the first time this has happened. It can't be that difficult to spot a dashcam.

  21. 21/01/2016 - 1998 GCZ32 Grade 3.5 with 222,000 KM.
  22. Unveiled and attempted to start the Z after having been sitting since Monday. Got out for a drive eventually! Battery may be going on four years old so a new one may be in order.
  23. There's a set for sale on Yahoo! but I'd sooner wait for a pair of Recaros. Anyway, my car isn't wired up for the seat controls.
