  1. I've read that the later clips don't work themselves loose as easily - would be worth replacing if they're not too expensive.
  2. Production years were 1989-2000. There were three standard spoilers in that period: the one you posted for a 1993 model, then this "boomerang" shape: Then this final edition (my car): Any of those three spoilers will fit your car, but they might not fit between 2 seater and 2+2, which do you have? I don't think any of them are still available new, so you'd be limited to getting one second-hand or getting a replica (there are some good ones available). There are some nice aftermarket spoilers out there too, but I'd stick with a standard one personally. In any case, you'll probably need to get it painted to match. The colour code (three digits) for your car should be on the chassis plate under the bonnet.
  3. 16/09/2016 - 1990 gz32 23,000 km!
  4. 16/09/2016 - 1999 GZ32 version R A perfect example of why you need to be selective with auction houses... Grade has improved a lot since last time.
  5. Full description of the VIN (which is a different format from other markets): Description: AT Colour code: KH2 Body: Z32 Model Code: KRGZ32JAHWE5 Model: FAIRLADY Z Code of upholstery: G Month of production: October 1989
  6. Welcome to the club. I'm an owner from Dublin, myself.
  7. No, you could add a few grand if it was!
  8. Should be around €11,000 landed here.
  9. Well, that's some profit margin...
  10. Would be a real loss to us :(
  11. That's a reasonable outcome then - I wouldn't hold anything against him.
  12. Nice 1999 slicktop, buy it now for 1,000,000 JPY: http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g188532420
  13. 15/09/2016 - 1997 Z32 version S
  14. 16/09/2016 - 1991 GCZ32 Grade 4.5 is uncommon for an older model.
  15. It's surprisingly common for them to have a registration with "300" or "32". There's probably a few in this thread. - - - Updated - - - 16/09/2016 - 1999 GZ32 version R
  16. Unlike the auction sheet, it's an official government document - I would imagine they would have a record of the original VIN considering they assigned a new one. That just isn't true. If you buy from a dealer in Japan or through an agent, of course there is a risk, but not if you personally select a car at auction or can at least source an auction sheet for it later. The first car that I placed a bid on ended up being pulled from auction because the seller couldn't produce evidence that the mileage was genuine. It was entered again the following week with an asterisk next to the mileage, which is standard practice.
  17. That's a very low price. Did it not strike you as odd?
  18. It's a "quality over quantity" type of deal. I've never seen a bad picture of his car, whereas I'll post anything
  19. Yeah I had problems with the K&N filters on a very wet day, even with them being in the air box. I think it was the oil more than anything, maybe the water just pushed it through. I would be buying from CZP anyway so should be genuine. Just wondering if it's worth it.
  20. I've decided to go back to a dry air filter so wondering how a single A'PEXi power intake compares to dual stock filters. How would these options compare in terms of air flow and filtration? Also air temperature - I presume stock might be colder due to being enclosed in the air box, but with the position so far in front of the engine it probably doesn't make much difference? Still not planning on any other modifications so proper function and not ****ing the MAF are most important!
