Im sceptical as well andy, but I know westfield are an extremely good garage, they mainly do toyotas and often have stacks of mr2's and supras in there and have worked on a bunch of 300zx's I have yet to hear a bad thing about them. mike

Mine generally starts first crank, sometimes the start will kick over a few times but i think that sounds cool :) only time my car has failed to start first time was when I left it for 2 weeks, it started 2nd time no problems, I think I was a bit to cautious starting it though first time.

westfield are very good i hear, although a mechanic I spoke to said he was didnt the 300zx at all and that it was a mecahnical nightmare, thats the main reason i havnt used them so far. I would probably go to them for major work though theyve had a few in i know and they do a good job on my m8s mr2. They are just extremely busy atm.

I think they look wicked, they look nice in the photo and photos don't do them justice

I had a tussle with a 2002 M3 last week off one roundabout to another, he got two car lengths off first roundabout due to coratina effect and was shocked that I out accelerated and caught him up in about a 1/4 of a mile before hitting another roundabout just cannot work out why i put roundabouts on my personal test track, doesnt make sense

sounds like he makes his own luck, props to him I don't think id own a merc, Ive never seen one I like, a porsche 911 turbo or a ferrari 355 are different matters though :)

I sit at just under 100mph, speedo is probably out anyway, I feel comfotable at that speed and its not an instant ban if im caught, Although on the m25 and a13 when its 3 lanes and clear i feel comfortable at 120mph Anyone with a zed who claims not to speed is bullshitting, if I wanted to drive around at 70mph on a motorway I would have stuck with my first car. I agree with breaking distances though, remember there are still cars on the road that are 40 years old used as daily drivers, although these probably stop quicker than a zed with stock breaks ;) I know some traffic cops that like nothing more than speeding around europe on fast bikes.

surely it will be quicker west to east as this is general direction of winds, that is why baloons fly round that way. flying at 25,000 feet will be slower, mainly because pilots slow speed down because more fuel is used at lower altitude, I think its to do with the air and fuel mixtures.
