  3. I dont think anything is going to collapse :) its sounds like a bed spring occasionly when hitting speed bumps ect, its a good excuse to upgrade :)
  4. In reality clarkson is a charmless arrogant c*nt he is funny at times on TV though :) he knocks everything, thats how he makes his money, I dont think people should take to much offense.
  5. maybe you are asking to low? why 3k for a UK spec? they usually go for at least 5.5k?
  6. Cheerz guys :) The Eibach springs and KYB AGX shocks from the write up appear to be exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price. I'll investigate a bit more into the other ones though. I guess I can take a closer look at toddington services for those of you taking the drive up on the sunday to billing :)
  7. Okay Im considering upgrading my shocks, firstly the rears are creaking a bit therefore need replacement in my book ;) secondly Id like a bit more of a harder ride. Who has what and what do you feel about them?
  8. I suppose its quite a way on your tandem bike....
  9. whos up for a southern romford dogs meet?
  10. The cheaper way is to replace the PCV valves, I had exactly the same symptons as you and once replaced the smoke all but dissapeared. defiently go that route first.
  11. hows your gearbox? I think a few people have blown them on here when going for extra power, I know its something that is first on my list to do because it feels a bit ropey atm.
  12. I have an intermittent fault on my drivers electric seat, sometimes the buttoms do not want to work, backwards and forwards work all the time but the rest can fail, its bad when the seat will raise at the rear but won't go back down. Anyone had this?
  13. very nice m8 :) can't wait to see it, I will bring my shades

  15. I had exactly the same thing at 2am with only me and a few trucks on the road, it really takes the piss to misreport stuff like that
  16. Im with the insureshop Rob there said my exhaust is fine and so would any minor bodywork alterations, its not until power is added that they start to reasess the situation and your policy. Each company is different though.

There is a rack for skis available, maybe a kayak would fit on this?
  20. I used to get a few spots of lag through the rev range from 0-100 in multible gears, I recently replaced my exhaust with a mongoose (back boxes on old one were shagged) and now its smooth all the way up :)
  21. don't start me on tax..........
  22. They are not rally cars heh, their owners often think they are, a rally spec subaru is about 300k and needs a rebuild every 210miles. Ive never raced one thogh (or know I was racing one ;))
  23. Its more comfortable than the Impreza, has more class than the Mx5 and is faster than your M3 enough said ;)
  24. I usually keep my mouth shut on these threads and I don't know where im going to go with this but I would like to quote andyp "this is not a democracy" Your £20 donation was a donation to get the forum out of a slippery period, it was on borrowed time on shitty hardware running crappy software. This forum software alone came to over $200, it could quite easily have been run on free software but you would have been subject to the frequent DB corruptions of the old forum. There was then the cost of the server, a lot of you won't have experience with the costs involved in this, the average cost for a 1u case is about £250 that is before you even start thinking about what you want inside it. As I see it the £20 was a donation to keeping alive something that you enjoy, do you really think if this forum dissapeared craig would be out on the street? noone running this site makes any profit from it. I think its a shame craig feels he has to leave, I know he feels as though his work is constantly thrown in his face, he is the legal owner of this site if you look at the nic records for the domain. You like to knock the powers that be but without them then I can guarentee this forum would be dead within 3 months. O and to clear something up, Administrators: MikeGroves, AnydyP, Craig Moderators: Ajay, AndrewG, AndyP, Gio, lymon, martinfa Administrators: We keep the back end going, I personally do not actively moderate unless its 100% necessary, me and craig have however sat up until 1am making sure this thing keeps running correctly. Moderators: The role of the moderator is to follow the guidelines of the forum and to keep the status quo, it is not their job to have every action they undertake downtrodden by the population of the board. Like i said before if you can only find fault in 1 out of every 100 moderation decisions then they are doing a bang up job. On creation of the new forum quite a lot of people were consulted and a lot of subforums were created, the pain purpose of this was to keep the Help and Advise forum strictly for techincal purposes with everything else going into the relevent subforums, this did not work with the general area locked for nonmembers so the general forum was opened up as were a few other forums to try and keep that forum as on-topin as possible, touch wood I don't use that forum much as my zed is extremely reliable and andyduff and macca generally set me straight before i get to the panicking stage :) Those who speak to me regulary know Im as up for a laugh as the next person, but when comments are snidy and below the belt I believe that is well out of order, at the end of the day you are supplied a resource and left 99% of the time to do with it as you would, occasionally you are reminded that this forums purpose was for the discussion of the z32 and related items. Michael (ready to duck)
