Some old dribbler just reversed into my car.
Old people should not be allowed to drive. Or at least made to take a retest at 60. Popped into Waitrose for some food, was in the car park, line of cars jostling for space. Some old boy in is Renault Scenic infront of me over at a funny angle. He spots a space and puts it into reverse, before I'd had time to select reverse and for the cars behind me to back up...CRUNCH! I beeped the horn but I don't even think he'd realised he'd hit me. So got out, asked if he was ok and told him he'd hit my car. He said 'have I'? LOL. Anyway, he was quite nice and apologetic over it all and gave me all the details I needed. Told me he looked in his mirror and pointed to the one on the driver's side and said that he didn't see me. I said if he'd looked in his other one then he'd have certainly seen me filling up his mirror! Only trouble is, it happened on private land, ie Waitrose' car park...so not sure a claim could be made? Anyone know?

Dodgey or not dodgy wide arch kit??
The Yellow one is the Jakari Z32. I used to like it but think it now looks flabby and ungainly. Infact the sides are totally different to the strosek. So not sure why he's pictured that car...and why the hell has he got that black one? The has ZERO to do with the kit he's trying to sell. That's Ka$h's green thing isn't it? It's a the same kit that gruntpa (Allan) has on his car.

who taking their's off
Nissan don't need to do that. The 10 fold increase in members writing theirs off each winter is good for that! That's not why I don't use mine in the winter. I don't enjoy driving in the winter to be honest so I just don't drive it. I love driving in the summer with the t-tops off. So use it then and use it quite a lot in the summer. :)

who taking their's off
I don't take it off the road as such. The car lives in the garage, it's taxed MOTd and insured right through the winter. Just doesn't get used when it's wet or there's salt on the roads. I will take it out on the odd winter day providing it's not wet or salty. But generally, I'll just leave it under wraps. I have another car anyway which I use daily. Would rather save the Z for enjoyable summer motoring, which is why I bought it.

Which car are you?
Out of all the Ferraris Richard, I think the F599 is without doubt the ugliest. Have you seen one on the road? Awful front end on it.

Yet another Dash Trim Question
The main part, the centre console won't fit either. Clock is on the otherside of the trim.

Carbon Wing vs Spoiler
Sorry Lee, but although thats a nice car, that spoiler is soooooooooooooo ugly.

Carbon Wing vs Spoiler
 I agree....although not entirely sure they'd suit a 2+2 with it's longer shape?

Carbon Wing vs Spoiler
Lee, neither. IMHO GT type ironing board spoilers look utter gash mate. You've just built yourself a sweet looking Z, please don't ruin it with one of those. I'm not the biggest fan of high level spoilers as I just don't find they suit the smooth roofline and tailgate of the Z, they suit wide arch Zs though. I'd sooner go smooth. I think the only higher level type spoiler that suits the Z is the Bomex twin level spoiler. Carbon fibre 99-spec... ;) although I'd paint it... Although if I think I had yours, then I'd be going for the smooth lip spoiler. But you've had your tailgate painted already. Shame. Zcentre do a low level spoiler which might look quite nice.

how do you approach somebody you have
I just get chatting. I have to in my current line of work anyway as I have to meet customers at meetings that I've never met before. Sure, there's a point to me being there, but there's a point and a common interest at a car meet. Each and everyone has different ways of tackling it. I rarely get nervous or feel intimidated by starting up a conversation with someone I don't know, so just end up talking about something random. 'Nice wheel nuts mate' or something similar! LOL I'm happy to just start chatting to anyone to be honest. I totally understand Fightgear's comments about awfulising. I am one of those people, but I always put a front on. Whilst I often think the worst and I'm quite pessimistic, I hide that part of me and put on a front as a barrier.

Nope, but remember reading the book when I was about 9. I remember my father bought me that an 'Stig of the Dump'. hehe- what happened
- Kahn wheel width
You going a similar route as me regarding suspension mods?- nice audi bi turbo
100k is not high mileage these days. 15 - 20 years ago it was considered so, but certainly not now.- Kahn wheel width
Bozway are a Japanese manufacturer iirc. Should be reasonable quality. I expect your rims are some years old in that respect. I'd get them shot blasted, powdercoated silver, then have the rims diamond cut before getting them clear-powdercoated.- Kahn wheel width
Not really worth going staggered if you're going for a flat wheel with no lip as it's the lip usually that tends to look deeper. Some rims concave in such as the BMW M3 wheels etc, but Kahn just keep the flat spokes. Each to their own.- New Wheels
Looks nice, but clean it and take it to a petrol station / illuminated car park and get some tripod night shots!- Ultralites
Nice rims those. The gold centres look a bit naff, but they are a nice wheel in silver. Crotchrocket's is lovely! - beowolf
