Thinking about getting some 19in Kahn wheels. Spoke to Kahn and they tell me to use 8.5 all round, 9.5 won't fit on the rear. Is this correct? I notice most people here are using staggered sizes. They told me the offsets are between 33 - 38.

They are talking out of their *rse. Have a look at the attached pic of the Kahn RS-C 2pc alloys I've got on my Zed (235/35ZR19 front & 265/30ZR19 rear). The biggest issue with their alloys is the centre bore which in most cases is around 69mm or bigger. Our Zeds take 66mm so make sure they supply you with the correct spiggot rings. The offsets they quoted are ok for use on a Zed. I think mine are ET35 front and ET43 rear but I'm not sure about those figures.

Good luck - most of their alloys are like pieces of art!

I generally don't like Khan rims, very dull looking a lot of them, but those are a nice model and they look great on your car Danny!

Madmarco, are yours Khans as well? Again, another good looker.

I have been looking for a classy wheel without a lip/dish which Kahn seem to do a good selection of. I believe they're a good quality wheel as well.

Cheers Dan. I'll get a price for a staggered set.

Yes, all their wheels are manufactured by Antera in Italy so high quality stuff!

Not really worth going staggered if you're going for a flat wheel with no lip as it's the lip usually that tends to look deeper. Some rims concave in such as the BMW M3 wheels etc, but Kahn just keep the flat spokes. Each to their own.

Thanks Si, the wheels look pretty good when they're cleaned up but to be honest they are pretty poor quality. The clear coat is already peeling off in a couple of places. Not positive what make they are, they were on the car when I bought it. The center caps say "Bozway" but I've never heard of them.

Bozway are a Japanese manufacturer iirc. Should be reasonable quality. I expect your rims are some years old in that respect. I'd get them shot blasted, powdercoated silver, then have the rims diamond cut before getting them clear-powdercoated.

Whoa! Thanks Si, proof once again that you are the oracle of all things Zed!

The wheel refirb will need to wait a bit while I get the last suspension parts bought and installed.
