  1. Yeah there are a number of them Ian. The speaker ones I can discard as I have run new wires from the the rear and the front. I have no idea what the white thing with the blue bits is. Looks like it's part of the original loom, but the connector itself isn't...if you catch my meaning.
  2. ...My foglight is wired into one of the reversing lights. When I am not having it MOT'd I just swap a bit of loom and a bulb over. Easy. Have 2 reversing lights and no ugly fog light. I don't think I've ever driven my Z in the fog and don't plan to either.
  3. It's been a known requirement for years.
  4. Thanks mate. Gives me a rough idea of what I can scrap. Most of it! LOL
  5. Well, I am wanting to get rid of a lot of this as it takes up valuable room behind the headunit that I need. All I need is a positive, ignition, earth and the aerial. The rest I 'could' bin if I knew what was what. I have run 4 new speaker cables, a switch cable for the amp and an RCA lead. So it's all there and not tightly packed in rigid carriers that are awkward to position. New cables are nice and flexible.
  6. I know one of them is for the clock, just trying to work out what the rest are for? They all had something to do with the old stereo...I think. It's a bit of a mess. Not sure what's what. Sorry about the quality, I've lost the lead for my digi-cam, so have to rely on a phone!
  7. Ditto. Agree with Richard. :)
  8. Get some pics up ASAP! :)
  9. Thanks John. :duffer:
  10. I know you're correct I'd never question that, just wondering why whiteline's are solid? Are they that way for people like me who are not so mechanically literate who think it's an added bonus? Might just stick with getting hold of a good UK spec one and getting it shot blasted/powdercoated.
  11. I thought dyslexia affected spelling rather than text abbreviations and randomness? I maybe wrong. :)
  12. Christ, that was nearly as difficult to read as the Qur’ān.
  13. I can't believe they are hollow either. I know they have been, but I still don't know why they made them hollow.
  14. LOL @ the N/A one. Looks like a string of spagetti in comparison. As always, UK ARB is rotten! ;) Quite up for getting a whiteline ARB. Pretty good reviews in the US.
  15. Lucky git! The Gallardo is my favourite supercar!! I know there's quicker more expensive metal out there, but nothing prettier.
  16. Proves how much better the VG sounds over the RB! Good vid, rear spoiler...not so good.
  17. That's what I aim to do on my car once I've finished with the suspension rebuild. Stance can make or break a car. Regarding Steven's (McLarenf1kid), his is made!
  18. Bad luck mate. I had one of my cars keyed about 9 years ago and it really pissed me off. Know how you feel. I try to avoid leaving my Z anywhere other than in a garage or on someone's driveway. Guess I'm lucky that I don't use it as my daily ride. Stays out of sight/out of mind usually.
  19. 20. There are 3 sizes, 20/40 and 45ft. 1 TEU is a 20.
  20. You saw sense! Glad you didn't go for the C2!!!!!!!!!!! The EC1 is quite nice and should work well with the smooth overall look of the strosek wide arch kit.
  21. Nope, 30th of March this year...which is a Sunday. Monday morning's going to be hard work.
  22. Thank fook! Want to be able to do some work on my car in the evenings after work! :)
  23. On the rear window runner, the one that you can see when you wind the window down on the pillar, there's a small pin that goes through the glass, at end of that is a ball type joint I believe. In the runner is a slider with a socket on the end of this I think. Has anyone ever replaced these? Over time, they wear a little bit leaving the window to rattle ever so slightly. Mine's not too bad, but want to replace it anyway since I've got my doors in pieces. Just wondering what's the best way to do this? Take the trim off the outer part of the pillar and do it through there or actually take the runner out from inside the door? Any help would be great. If anyone's taken it all apart and has photos that would be a bonus too. Thanks
