Red, if in good condition looks great on a Z. If it has a deep unbroken shine, then it looks as good as any other colour. I think ANY colour that the Z came in looks good if in tip top condition. Although I have preferences, I don't think there's a single colour I don't like.

Funny you should say that as I pulled off an earth lead from it (previous bodged effort by Mr. Sushi.). The antenna however, wasn't even plugged into the headunit. Very bizarre! Probably why I could never pick up radio 2! :rofl:

You can get subframe locking collars to completely remove any subframe play.

Oh yeah I remember, that's the top screw. You will need to lower the window. You could pull the thing off though if you weren't too bothered about that top piece of trim as it separates from the main door card itself.

Which trims are you referring to? I don't believe the window needs to be in any position that will effect any exterior trim removal.

Thanks guys. What wire goes to the aerial to give it its power...ie, the electric to power the aerial up?

I have a smoothed stock one, but if I could get hold of one, then probably this IMPUL front bumper would be my first choice. Along with the IMPUL sides and rear bumper. 2nd choice would be the Escort Racing front bumper which isn't listed up there. 3rd would be Evolution. :)

Am I right in thinking the stock plug for the antenna lead is a 2 pronged affair? Is there some kind of adaptor you can get for it to fit aftermarket headunits? My old headunit didn't have one and I found that someone hadn't plugged it in and had simply ran an earth from it to the body of the car. Cheers Si
