  1. I remember that! Good day that was! Hard to believe it was over 9 years ago!
  2. If PolioJ and TogsyMe are doing one....
  3. Andrew has extensively cleaned his headlights too IIRC.
  4. You couldn't have taken it to a better place! :punk:
  5. I'll conceded on the dials. I was convinced the 'Z' on the speedo display wasn't on original ones.
  6. That whole advert is *****cks. They aren't genuine dials and it looks like an error was made in the registration. He's had it 17 years in the UK and I'd imagine it was registered by accident as a new vehicle as that would have put it right in the beginning of the boom years for Japan imports. Not sure what makes you think it isn't a Genuine 99-spec front bumper Tony!? Who knows, it could be a 99 spec car. Those sill returns are crumpled to hell, it's an auto and there's a question mark on its authenticity. It's difficult to tell without a VIN and more detailed photos.
  7. Same here. The stock knob with the stock shift mechanism with new bushes is by far and away the best. It's the best weighted and the nicest to feel and also to look at. They're understated.
  8. Kraftwork of Chelmsford. Joelyp had his done at the same place. Can't remember the final bill for more, Maybe £4.5k? I spent another £3k on other new parts whilst I was at it so the total amount has been lost somewhere!
  9. Saw it the other day. Hideous. It's a 'drift car' apparently which is the current excuse for something looking so terrible. Looked 4.5million times better when you owned it. Now it just looks like a freebie that fell out of a Cornflakes packet. Thankfully monstrosities like this are becoming fewer and further between. I bet all the folk on that awful Nismo 300ZX page on Facebook are jacking off over it though!
  10. Yeah that's worse than an NA! Rubbish!

  12. A snippet of things that I HATE : Swamp ass. Folk with poor levels of hygiene. Beyonce's "all the single ladies" tune. People/companies putting up decorations for Christmas in August. Bad grammar. Toilet Brushes. People that spit and yack in public. Chavs. MPVs. Metal tea pots (often found at National Trust cafés). Cat shit. Mushrooms. Hairy/pungent vaginas. Tabloid newspapers. When councils spray tar and chippings on a road as a quick-fix to roads that seemingly had absolutely nothing wrong with them prior. Sprouts. Peas. Christmas pudding. Cheap low quality tyres. Vauxhall Corsas. Single ply bog roll. IBS Everything touched by the hand of Rupert Murdock. Reality TV. TV Soaps. Football. Fruit on pizza. Evangelism. The theme tune to 'The One Show'. Dump valves. I will add more....
  13. Hi Dave, it's still stuck out in the US. I'll get it posted to me this week and as soon as I get it, I'll send you my old one.
  14. Great photos Andrew! Wonderful time. The Zs ran great and got a lot of attention, even in Monaco, really surprised how much attention they got there! I guess folk get bored of seeing Ferraris all the time!
  15. So I've decided after years of putting it off to go to Japan in March of next year, something I've wanted to do for many years now, but kept it on the back burner. Part of it will be spent with a friend who's stationed at one of the US bases in Okinawa, a southerly tropical island, so I'll fly down there from Tokyo and be taken care off. I do however want to check out both Nagoya (where my Z spent the first half of its life) and Tokyo. Whilst being a pretty seasoned traveler, I've yet to go any further east than India. Getting around Tokyo I'm sure won't be a problem as I understand that most signage is also in English/Western type set, however I want to take the bullet train to Nagoya and rent a car to go and visit the guys at Fairlady Pro-Shop (Z32-zone) who are about 45 mins west of Tokyo centre and if I can get access via application, a visit to Nissan DNA Heritage Museum in Hironodai. Few questions: Little information on Bullet Train schedules and pricing online, can I assume that in Tokyo, it's fairly straight forward in getting tickets? In terms of driving, obviously I'll need to solely rely on GPS once out of Tokyo - how difficult is it once out of the main city centre? Any information/conversation points welcome.
  16. Same! He's responsible for a lot of great cars on here and some of the most powerful builds in the country.
  17. Not sure who you used before, but you simply cannot go wrong with Jim @ PZ. Been using him for nigh on 13 years and the engine he originally built is still going strong and just did a 2000 mile grueling trip around Europe, over the Alps, over the Massiv Centrale, car was faultless. Great guy, great service! Everything else he's done on my car has been awesome! I'll always beat the PZ drum!
  18. Might be worth getting in contact with some of the Japanese performance magazines to see if they fancy doing a write-up; it's pretty significant in my opinion.
  19. Very interesting! It will be the big 3-0 for the Z32 also!
  20. Very nice Lee!!
