  1. Still showing as 'available' from Nissan. Part number 7490145P75 @ £650+ea
  2. Buy genuine ALL the time - so Jimmer@Powerzed keeps good stocks, you could ask him (he'll fit too), Nissan, allcarpartsfast.co.uk, Z1, CZP, MJP etc etc I'd replace all the rollers and the waterpump, again with genuine equipment.
  3. My pleasure and sure thing!
  4. No, this one was one a friend of mine bought a few years ago and had never fitted it. You can have mine doe the princely sum of £0.00 including postage.
  5. Sourced myself a brand new boxed, never been fitted original 3rd brakelight. Mine is in very good shape, but couldn't turn down a new discontinued part! I love finding new discontinued parts! Interesting to note that if you buy the two screws separately, they come black, originals look like they're are just a plated finish. It's still in the US at the moment, but soon it will be heading my way. :) Dave, would you like my old one?
  6. I'd rather use rotten bovine scrotums than either of your two suggestions!
  7. Good man! It'll be in great hands!
  8. Exactly, a more dense material likely to stay put a bit better than light timber. :)
  9. I'm afraid you'll probably going to have to.
  10. I wouldn't - if any of that compound were to break off internally, then you can wave goodbye to the entire engine. I'm sure there are NA intakes for sale somewhere.
  11. Why would you choose ply over MDF? Granted, it's stronger, but unless you're carrying the whole of Wales in the boot, MDF would be the best option, easier to cut, leaves nicer edges and has a better finish.
  12. One of the few things on the Z32 that I actually think is utterly terrible and that's the shitty fibre boards used for the boot floor that are woefully flimsy and warp. I am probably going to remake a set out of slightly thicker MDF and then get them flocked for a bit of added sound deadening. Just wondering whether anyone else has re-made theirs out of something a little less 'MFI'? I know Maniacal Motorsports do a set for $100 (via CZP) but shipping and potential breakage doesn't make it worthwhile.
  13. Marginal? Where did I say that?
  14. Yeah I bought one from Scewfix for a tenner. It singled out my duff injector.
  15. How are they less effective!? - - - Updated - - - R32 GTR V-spec uses the same M12 x 1.5mm too IIRC.
  16. Who did the boost leak tests and what does 'negative' equate to? No system pressure at all? Partial pressure? Gas test is the best way to check for leaks in the system. You'd still get some boost if you had a seized turbo, it would just be a lot less. Are you getting any boost at all?
  17. Just get the GTR kit, 100% bolt on! So easy! :)
  18. So sorry to hear that. Being off to southern Europe in my own Z does give ma hint of intrepidation after reading that! I'd suggest having it sent to PowerZed. Jim's on holiday in France himself at the moment but should be back by the end of the week.
  19. ......and so it starts.....I think this is a good location - just not sure how I'm going to route the cables! There is plenty of space around the unions despite how it looks on the screen.
  20. Stock are half decent if they're in good condition. Mine did just fine however now that I've fitted Brembos all round with larger front disks I get much less fade.
