  1. I'm not 'mocking' and my intention is not 'mock' as that's thoughtless piss taking (something I also have experience in), what I do see here however is not good repair and I'm hoping that it may open your eyes to it. The sills especially; you mention it's been opened up and whatnot, but that's a monumental amount of filler still in the sill. That entire section should have either been removed completely or reshaped before being welded otherwise you'll either have a badly shaped sill or a sill with an inch of filler in it. The welding itself is low quality also. It's not 'mocking', I just hope that you are happy with it, because it doesn't look like a quality repair job I'm afraid and if you've coughed up a good amount of savings on it, I'd be questioning whether what you'd spent was worth it.
  2. Judging by the repairs that have been carried out, the quality doesn't look much better. I'd be pulling that out of there if it was me. That repair job on the sill is 'mot welding' at best. Sorry mate, not trying to be an ass, but please don't be convinced they're doing a decent job as that's pretty poor quality (the angle iron on the wings aside).
  3. Please please tell me that this is from a previous hack job that's now being corrected....
  4. My original radiator finally gave up the ghost last week and has started leaking. Only small though and it appears to be leaking from one of the end tanks. Decided on an original replacement as the stock radiators are fairly good and wanted to keep all the bracketry etc. OE originals are around £400 but I did a bit of research and found out that Koyo do OE replacement radiators and I believe Mishimoto do too. We all know that Koyo are decent quality so bought one just to see what it was like. After having a good look around it and counting out the core numbers, I was very impressed. End tank castings are high quality and so is the core. All the fixings and mount points are 100% identical. I'm not one for pattern parts, I'd rather buy original, but this is made by a high quality manufacturer to a great standard and thought I'd get one just to see what it looked like. Very impressed. Unboxed
  5. R33 GTR V-Spec wheels do look good on a Z32.
  6. You know 50mm wheel spacers on a wide arch car will look terrible.
  7. Even for old cars? That's ludicrous.
  8. The Sport Street clutch is nowhere near as nice in operation as the Max Street.
  9. Don't get a competition clutch. Heavy and unnecessary.
  10. There are absolutely no downsides to running the SZ segmented clutch, only positives. Firstly, the rotational mass is less giving you greater response....you know this. The SZ flywheel is not lightened to excess and has no negative affect on drivability. Lastly, the reason they're segmented is to act as a heat shield to dissipate prevent warping under extreme loads. The two parts really do go hand in hand.
  11. ....avoid paddle clutches and twin plate clutches unless you're going to be running very high HP or as a dedicated track car.
  12. Just had the same combo as Joel and Andrew fitted yesterday by Lord ShimSham of Jimmerville. Very smooth and only a slightly more aggressive bite over stock. I have noticed the car is more responsive too, it feels really nice, I'm certainly a happy camper.
  13. Love it! Even though black wheels really aren't my thing, overall the car looks fantastic Nick. :)
  14. Yup, poured with rain last night and dried up by mid morning.
  15. Up at Jimmer's getting my lovely new SZ Clutch and flywheel today.
  16. I'm still waiting on my one to be shipped from the US, my friend is being super lame about going to the Post Office. Once it's here, my old one is yours. :)
  17. Yes, QN0 was a much brighter crisper pearl white introduced in late 94/early 95.
  18. Injector testing : http://z32.wikispaces.com/Injector+Testing If you're replacing the PTU for an S2 one you'll need the harness adaptor also. I would wait before you've checked everything else first.
  19. That's the next thing. If the plugs check put OK then check impedance values of the injectors with a multimeter. Make sure the connectors are very very clean.
  20. I personally prefer the look of the early headlights. They're a little more aggressive looking.
  21. Hope it lasts! Surprised you didn't buy a new one. You're as bad as me....well, almost.
  22. It's running lumpy because it's misfiring..... Unlikely for the timing to just 'go' to that extent. - - - Updated - - - No, it isn't that, ignore him (sorry Alic). Carry on with your process of elimination as I posted. Post your findings. :)
  23. Ok, so move that coil pack to another cylinder and see whether the fault stays or goes. If it stays on the same pot, then it'll be injector or spark plug related.
  24. How does it sound like timing to you?
