  1. I still wouldn't use it when there are far better and more advanced oils out there.
  2. I wouldn't use it!
  3. Drove it - up to Chew Valley Lake, down through Cheddar Gorge. Bliss.
  4. Sure, appreciate that. He'd be a good guy to have on as a trader.
  5. Greg @ Protuner has some more qualified and reliable info as he's tuned a lot with Nistune. Joel suggestion are what I believe he suggests.
  6. Dunno what's wrong with me at the moment! Turns out I have BKR7E in at the moment. Are the 'IX' a different varient?
  7. Agreed, it would be good to have another debate, I'm keen to hear more as yes, it was clouded by a certain person.
  8. Shame Chunk isn't still on the forum. Not into drifting at all, but good to see where he's at now, that's awesome.
  9. Thanks all. I'm getting conflicting information from somewhere. There are always arguments for and against the iridium plugs, but it did run a lot better with the previous NGK plugs in it. So the 6s and the 7s are the best for a mild boost upgrade? Pretty sure I ran 6s before and Jeff, as you say, it idled better.
  10. Part number for the early one is 9309440P02 It shows as still being available. It's not cheap but it looks much better than the aftermarket ones and of course comes on the template for the early spoiler. :)
  11. Just for reference, the image Jeff posted is not the correct one for your car Gary, that's the later style for the perspex panel. It won't line up correctly, I'll grab you the part number of the early one as the template is a different shape, letter spacing is different and the colour of the lettering is slightly different.
  12. Tell a lie, ungapped they're 0.7.
  13. Standard gap is 0.45, 0.7 seems huge personally. I beg to be proved otherwise though.
  14. Ah! Found the 0.05! Gapping them down to 0.35. Can someone who knows confirm? Thanks. :)
  15. I'm taking out my old Iridium plugs and going to fit the above listed in the title. Running 14PSi. NGK doesn't list this plug under the 300zx however does anyone know what gap setting I need for these particular plugs? I believe it's 0.36 however my feeler gauges are at 0.4 (stock being 0.44). Is this suitable or do I need a slightly reduced gap? I'll have to buy another feeler gauge as my one does not have this measurement.
  16. As standard they are a rustproof metal substrate, without it, the trims would be even more fragile. It's not chromed, they're likely to be of stainless construction hence the pricing.
  17. Fronts are a good fitment, rears will need arch work depending on what tyres you go for. If you want to go for the silly stretched look then you may get away with it, but under normal correct tyre fitment and I'd advise a 285 width on those, you'll need to pull the arches. For a 10" wheel you want around a 35-40 offset ideally for the rear.
  18. There aren't really any specialist breakers around for these cars anymore. The only one really doing anything with these is Banzai Breakers, but breakers are becoming scarce and you might be waiting a while for a gearbox. Might be easier to get hold of an NA gearbox. Essentially they're the same however the bell-housing is different and uses a different flywheel and clutch. NA and TT starter motors are the same, but you need to match up the flywheels otherwise you'll have issues with tooth engagement which can be overcome with shimming, but not really something you want to do. Double check the prop will fit, I can't recall whether the Gloria and Cedric use the same length of prop shaft. You could elect to go single-piece, if so, get in touch with Jimmer @ PowerZed for one of these.

  20. This is exactly half the reason I ditched my touch screen.
  21. Good to have you back James. I know your car quite well, it's a very good example.:) 99-spec rear lights will finish it off a treat.
  22. I don't wish downgrade and date my Z, but thanks, truly, from the heart of my bottom.
  23. Last time I checked, tin foil was metal.....
  24. .....and also put original headlights in without the KitKat foil inside them!:)
