Very proud new owner SWB SLICKTOP MANUAL pearl comming from Japan!
The engines are far more advanced than stone aged pushrod LS motors. It's something a little different.

Quarter Glass Tint
That must be their own entire list not what's fitted specifically to the Z32 I'd imagine?

If you're going to stick a V8 in it, do at least stick a Nissan V8. :) Good news on not wanting to fit a bodykit, invariably they ruin the look of the car. :)

Looks very nice, a pretty car, although judging by the overspray on the boot seals, door handle seals and aerial it's probably had quite a lot of paintwork (nothing wrong with that although those seals should be black and the aerial shouldn't be white) , so just check it's done to a good standard. :)

Quarter Glass Tint
That is blue.

Snowy Slicktop....
Mine is still tucked up in the garage. It was due to go to Jimmer's on Saturday for my RPS clutch and flywheel, but that's now postponed. Roll on summer, I absolutely detest the winter.

Who wants this Pinky
Correct. Old coats thrown over the wheels and vaseline on the weatherstips. One of the worst paint jobs I ever saw. Thankfully it ended up being broken for spares, it was a complete horror.

What did you do to your zed today?
Love the Central 20 spoiler, nearly went for one myself about 10 years ago. Looking forward to seeing it fitted. :)

Quarter Glass Tint
I'd try and get some to be honest. Even if you put a blue tint behind the bronze that you have, it's going to be 'off'. Might highlight even more the fact that it's bronze by darkening it.

Picked up a few more parts from Ryukyu Nissan here in Chatan in Okinawa Prefecture. It's definitely a very cool feeling picking these up from a Japanese Nissan dealership. They're just the clutch and brake non return valves, nothing exciting. They were however a grand total of about £20 the pair. They're £35 each in the UK. Turns out that the mirror glass I had, I took the last passenger side one in Japan (RHD non heated) and it's now gone NLA. I think the heated ones are now hard to come by.

25 years and older? Wouldn't mind doing that myself!

Who wants to see my new knob ?
This and the original (black stitch) are by far and away the best gear knobs. Perfectly weighted, matched with replacement stock or bronze bushings (not a horrible short shifter) and you get a lovely smooth shift.

Happy birthday joely p
No happy birthday from me. You haven't earned it yet.

Top Gear2018
I haven't seen it yet as I'm still in Japan. We're they complimentary of the Z32? I hope it was painted in a better light then the last time it was on TG.

Z1 Wiring Harness Beta
I'll bring one back with my when I'm next in the US in July. At that price it's got to be worth a punt just to see what the quality is like.

Rolling road session?
Depending on when, I'll come down and spectate.

Any club members been to Japan? Advice needed
So much amazing stuff happened today. Not too sure where to begin. This morning I met the former director of NISMO who picked myself and my Japanese friend up from the station in his 1964 Cedric. Full guided tour of the museum at the Zama plant, I have hundreds of photos that I need to sift through. It was a complete honour and a privilege. Following that, he took us for ramen before dropping us back to the station where we'd parked the 350. Then drove down to see the guys at Z0ne in Sagamihara. Super friendly chap a and it turns out the own and I have a number of contacts in common. Interesting fact; the owner, Hideki Omura, supplied the Z32 used in Kill Bill. Tons and tons of awesome parts there. Great time and great guys and I might be doing some sort of spares deal perhaps at a later date.

Yup, just on the train from Narita Airport into Tokyo. Japanese train networks although super efficient are very confusing.
