  1. Driven one of those in Texas. It was actually the 2.0 versions. Fun little cars, very raw to drive.
  2. Black roof bars are a really nice thing to do on the Z. I had this done quite a number of years ago although recently refinished as part of an extensive respray.
  3. I did. Another grainy low-res image of the front. Looking forward to seeing proper pics. I'm sure Gazwoz will get some up once it's at the departure port. :)
  4. Stick with OEM manufacture bumpers, they fit perfectly, they look and feel better and they'll last longer. The Greddy Gracer bumper doesn't suit the lines of the Z32 at all, even worse is the Wings West and Stillen GTZ-R (hideous thing). I would avoid most aftermarket front bumpers as they never have a swage line, never have the right contours for the dropsides and rarely fit properly. It's like they were taken from another car and made to fit. There are one or two aftermarket manufacturers that make nice front bumpers, Impul and ABFlug ones are nice and some of the TwinZ stuff is nice; their front bumper however is not. I'd stick to something more OEM, but that's my personal choice as I believe these cars look near-perfect as the creators intended. Avoid fibreglass like the plague.
  5. Congrats, hope it's every bit as good as you hope. Generally fresh-imports are in good order. Japanese look after their possessions like they're their first-born. Not sure how you can tell how 'extremely clean' it is from that single grainy low-res image. ;)
  6. Haha! *******! Got there before I did. I'm at least going with an English speaking Japanese chick so she can at least do some translating!
  7. OEM Bosch horns as fitted to late Primeras if you want to continue using a single terminal; if you're ok adding another terminal (earth), then PIAA dual tones are about the best quality and sound you're going to get.
  8. ^^^ this! I saw HIDs and daytime running lights on an MGB GT the other day and thought it looked hilarious. Granded, the Z is much newer, but still, it doesn't look quite right with them.
  9. Getting a LHD one would be no good too as you'd have a foot plate. JDM ones didn't get them, but Euro and US models did. If you can't get it out of Japan then you may end up with the wrong carpet if you buy from the US.
  10. ....and yes, they are chassis specific.
  11. I think Jimmer has a pax side TK3.
  12. I haven't eaten a KFC for about 10 years. I didn't think much of it. Fried food in general isn't really something like.
  13. If you do, make sure they're stainless steel.
  14. No, this is a "stay off the drugs kids" post!
  15. Moron cuts off the back end of a clean 300zx claiming to be making a baja Z. The levels of mongaloidary are waaayyyy off the scale.
  16. Can't say I care. KFC is awful and shouldn't even be considered as 'food'. It is hilarious though.
  17. Get those wheels rebalanced. :)
  18. Why do dogs lick their balls?
  19. Good work! Annoys the hell out of me too. For those with TapaTalk, they may not even realise as signatures don't appear iirc.
  20. The Japanese actually look after their vehicles and maintain them correctly with quality components. It's generally why almost all fresh imports are in good order. Once they get over here though, they're often run on a shoestring with low quality part, incorrect maintenance and dodgy engine modifications. I am a strong believer that if looked after correctly, they're very reliable. :)
  21. Lol @ that dash.
