  1. If you get the complete Stillen kit, then it covers the same amount of swage line front-back. Thus:
  2. Unfortunately, they did with this monstrosity. I love Stillen stuff, but their GTZ-R fascia is not one of them. It is one ugly mother of a bumper. - - - Updated - - - Sorry, wrong picture....
  3. I've seen it done and I don't like it I'm afraid. Makes the Z look like a jelly mould. The swage line, IMO, is a key integral part of the car's design and kicks the back of the car up. If you do the bumpers, you'd need to do the sides too to match and it just doesn't work IMO.
  4. Bare alloy. Get them blasted and back on the car.
  5. Based on the widths you want to go, that's pretty much spot on. +25 on the front is a little better if you don't want any issues on an 8.5+ wheel, but +20 should work, depends how low you go and how much camber you have dialled in.
  6. For quite a while now, I have been thinking about changing my interior. When I bought the car back in '05, it had tweed, albeit in very good condition. However, I didn't like the feel or appearance of it and about 6 years ago had it all gutted and drummed with a 2-tone leather. I like the smell and look of leather, but it's not supportive and it creaks. I've been speaking to Mondo on and off about having it trimmed in an alcantara / leather hybrid which is ultimately what I will have done toward the end of the year providing that I am still living in the UK as there's a good possibility that I won't be. In the interim (intentional word), I've bought a very tidy series 3 velour interior. I like both the look and the feel and I also like the fact that everything fits nicely and your harris doesn't slide between the seat bolsters on cornering. I just don't know what to do, whether to flog my current leather interior and fit my new velour interior...I will miss all the 'lovely interior' comments, so just don't know!! Eeeek!
  7. Ban the ****er!!
  8. Simply stunning as always Joel! Agree with Steve though!!! :p
  9. Have you spoken to Mikey Bean about this? Did he hand it back on 5 cylinders!? Why didn't he rectify the issue if it's only a connector issue?
  10. Bodykits hide and harbour rust......
  11. Hope you have a budget greater than stuartthefish or at least have a realistic head on your shoulders! Welcome to the forum. You're not too far from JoelyP who lives near Stanstead - Joel has one of the best in the country.
  12. Providing I'm in the country, then I'm tentatively interested. I'd like to know how to colour-sand properly.
  13. Not over here. The parts market has been flooded as so many have been broken for spares. Complete quality vehicles are where the money is (if there is any to be made). There are (were) a monumental amount that were broken as rust is the main killer of cars in the UK.
  14. I also think that you need to know what models you bring over. The main market is geared toward TT manuals and those without half a boat grafted onto them. The market has thankfully moved away (in general) from multi-coloured monstrosities. I'd still pay top-dollar for a quality vehicle and people's budgets are now starting to increase slightly as the demographic shifts. There are still those however who think they can buy a fire breathing, ripsnorting immaculate Z32 for £1500.....which is completely delusional at best. Good luck with your venture! :)
  15. Wish I'd have been about today chaps, unfortunately I had to go to Kent today!
  16. Well worth EVERY penny! OEM knob (new) is the nicest, best weighted and most attractive. I bought a new one about 8 years ago, still looks good, but might get another to match new wheel! lol
  17. Before I get the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in, are there inner sleeves on the rear knuckles that need to remain in-situ like those of the differential? As this is one of the few parts that I've not had any experience with, I don't actually know.
  18. Met up with Harby and Mondo at Jimmer's for a laugh, then came back and finished these puppies off. Just this minute ordered new discs and pads and now have SS lines.
  19. NA rear bearings have a different part number, I'm not too sure that's the case. They maybe interchangable though, but they are different.
  20. Won't be urethane. I don't think any of them, the Strosek Kit or the replica Paul Bailey kit or any of the copies of the Paul Bailey kits were urethane.
  21. Lastly, speak to Jimmer if you want PU bushes.
