  1. I've heard they serve food there. However, I've yet to believe it! :wack: See you Friday! :)
  2. I don't actually use that! I park the car in the garage in gear so as not to stretch the handbrake cable! Least mine runs....more than can be said for YOURS! :p
  3. I don't know what the car currently looks like, but the above is a bad path to go down. :( Congrats on the purchase though!
  4. Indeed. Quite why a PM wasn't sent requesting said number is beyond me! lol Graham, I still need to get over to you with my dials at some point....I'll send you a PM! lol
  5. Not talking about that. lol
  6. Whilst I'll be building up the components (powdercoated arms etc, fitting seals and bushes, refurbishing the calipers etc), Jimmer will be doing the hard work and making sure it's all fitted correctly. :)
  7. There's a specialist company in the US that remanufactures them as you can't get them anymore - despite being listed on Courtesy Parts for nearly $900! It's fitted with new springs, valves and a diaphragm. Couple that with my fully refurbished GTR Brembo calipers (front and rear), the higher spec Brembo 'Sport' pads, new disks all round, braided lines, a master cylinder brace AND a complete fluid flush, it should give me a pretty decent braking system....I hope! lol :)
  8. ANOTHER box of goodies from Z1 arrived today! I love getting car parts. I get most exited about new nuts and bolts! Strange huh!!
  9. When I see an auto shifter next to sports seats of that calibre.....just makes me 'lol' a little.
  10. This truly pathetic that I have to put a wanted thread up for this - the reason being is that I don't think Nissan sell this clip separately. On the engine belly pan, there are 2 longer screws that secure the bumper to the splash shield by way of a white plastic clip. I've lost one of them and need another. If anyone has one laying around or have a knackered engine pan, I'd be very interested! They're not picture on the image, but they're the large white plastic clips that kinda resemble spire clips.
  11. You do know there's a 'wanted' section, right?
  12. Your green Z is a 95/96, it should not be having bronze tint.
  13. Appears this one hasn't gotten going either! That's pants! Richard, if you and Julia fancy a day out in Bath, I'll happily pop over!
  14. Got mine MoTd today! Passed with flying colours - when I say that, it did get advisories for the rear tyres which are being replaced for a different profile next week. The garage was really impressed with it and said it was one of the most up-together cars he'd seen in a long time, especially considering its age. That made me happy! :) It's always nice when someone impartial and unbiased says something like that.
  15. It doesn't really go much more in over run...if the boost check is to be believed, it should go lower if the system didn't have, what I suspect is a pre-inlet leak.
  16. FFS!! I know! lol Muppet! ;) Should still sit vacuum though! Anyway, it's sorted to an extent.
  17. YES! WIN! :) Looking really good. Can't wait to see this when you take it to Jim's.
  18. As Jaffa suggests, blue tint is LOTS nicer. I went so far as to replace EVERY last glass panel with blue gradient glass. Made a HUGE difference. Bronze tint never seems to look clean.
  19. Compressor. Had it on there for a while and it won't pressurise the system. No leaks could be detected, audibly or visibly. I guess the only way to really check it would be to fill the system with UV gas and look at it under ultra violet light....not sure where I could get that done! I assume since there's no hissing or anything that either the leak is so big (can't imagine that as I am getting full boost) or it's before the inlet.
