  1. As above. 280mm x 30mm.
  2. I drive an NA Auto Z32 in the US....I still haven't made up my mind as to my opinion on it (them). Having being used to a TT Manual that I have in this country and not using either of them as daily/commuter cars, I am not sure I appreciate it as well as you do. It's a good cruiser, but I dunno, it just doesn't set my world on fire.
  3. I travel 10 miles to Jimmer's! Haha. Thumbs up from me for PowerZed!
  4. Generic chip Graham. Even that has given the car noticeable gains and benefits. I still have a safety boost issue which I need to find a solution for, but overall, this has made a big improvement. Boost it's strong right through to max at just over 14psi. Constantly spins in second now rather than just a chirp, so it's making more power. It will get tuned eventually. Need to fit the new SMICs first!
  5. I tell you what, power delivery is soooo much nicer and there appears to me more of it, especially top end! Seems a little more economical too and also it idles smoothly.
  6. One of my PAS pot hoses had become a little loose - tightened the jubilee clip and washed down the inner wing thoroughly. Seems to have come back. If you want me to come and have a look at it, let me know. I can diagnose and Jimmer can fix (if it needs it).
  7. Of all the people to comment on pricing/cost.....it's you!
  8. Possibly. Any wear in any suspension/steering component can cause it. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=234&category_id=62&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7
  9. It's either the rack seal, the high pressure line or the hose from the fluid reservior that tend to go. Check those 3. If it's really coming out quickly, it'll likely be the high pressure feed.
  10. Just remember where your car is, I might go pee on the cabin intake vents for you!
  11. Seen it before. That car has got the aids. The front end is its very worst aspect, although from all other angles it has the face only a mother could love. First time I've seen that comedy roll cage though! Looks like plumbers' copper piping!
  12. Has anyone got a stock TT 2+2 drive shaft they don't want/need? Don't care about the state of the centre bearing or whether it looks a little scabby. Paramount for me is that both joints are in tip-top! I want to use this for the single piece prop. Thanks :)
  13. The HICAS 'rack' is actually a ram. The play you're noticing as has been suggesting is the inner joint. Replacement HICAS arms come complete with the joint.
  14. BeeGeeVinz car Gary?
  15. Wings! DO IT AND DO IT NOW! :D
  16. Julia will be fine with it and you'll have your Z back by then! haha
  17. Haha! You know me too well! No problem either. :)
  18. The current KYBs have actually been pretty good to be honest. I've liked the handling, just not the 'ride' and comfort if that makes much sense. The Tein springs I've always been happy with. PU is ok, but for personal preference, I'm going ALL rubber at the rear (my word - that sounds like a homo sexual porno movie..). Unless your car is going on the track, I'd personally advise against solid bushings....unless you're on first name terms with your chiropractor.
  19. Not leaving them red. They'll either get powdercoated black or painted black. Red on the underside of my car would look awful if you were unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse through the wheel! The Z1 FUCAs are about the same price as stock new upper arms believe it or not. You could opt for the NISMO bushes to be pressed in to your existing links. I wouldn't want PU or solid joints on the rear of the car as that's where NVH is most sensitive. Having these joints at the front will mean that they'll pretty much be maintenance free and more forgiving. Not as soft as stock, but not firm either. I will NEVER be fitting solid mounts/bushings ever again. :)
  20. Here's an old bush compared to a new one. Granted, the old bush would have retained an amount of its compressed memory, but it's as hard as nails. This wasn't from my car, I want to pull those off ASAP to find out why one of them has completely failed.
  21. Like buses, 3 came along all at once! A new chip from Noel, some bits that JoelyP managed to rescure from MJP for me and finally a nice big package from Z1 arrived today. I have been running solid Midori style suspension components from Powertrix for the last 8 or 9 years and they're just too harsh for me, they've also caused a lot of my standard bushes to deteriorate at quite a rate of knots, so I've decided to rebuild everything. One of my current KYB front shocks seem to have shat its pants and wrecked one of the rubber strut top mount bushings, so I'm just going to replace EVERYTHING. No more solid joints! YAY! All the bushings on the rear knuckles are to be replaced, front lower arm, tension rods, the lot. I hope it'll feel more like the GT Street Car it was designed as rather than a crashy tack car. My study is now filling up with car parts quickly! Should feel better for it this summer!
  22. That's really nice Ian!!!
  23. RIP Mandy - I am sure you'll get a great send off today!
