  1. Wow! All you need is...wait for it....a red bulb! Talk about someone making extra work for themselves! That's hilarious!
  2. Jimmer might have one, I certainly remember going through some parts with him and we came across one. He may have sold it now, but give him a buzz. His details are in the 'PowerZed' section in the traders' forum.
  3. THIS! You'll likely make more money too!
  4. No, you won't need new studs for 5mm. 10 you will do.
  5. I like those too! Very nice. You could probably squeeze 10mm spacers on the rear I think to give it a more aggressive stance whilst solving the shaft-clearance issue. You'll need longer studs though.
  6. It is good to have people on the stand though, particularly for Saturday and Sunday as it does get really busy at times.
  7. That's what Mandy did when she showed Zebedee a few years ago. She went home on the Thursday PM and came back on the AM Sunday.
  8. Hopefully not. I didn't have the section cut out. I just want to go back to a near-stock body. The Z32 is a time-piece and I want to keep it that way. I still haven't totally decided on it though, but pretty sure I'll get that done. I want ALL the functionality from the car from when it was launched, so that includes a HICAS overhaul and refitting everything it came with - apart from the emissions control horse shit!
  9. I am - because I am going to refit the rear washwipe, aerial and a more stock/subtle interior - and steering wheel.
  10. TwinZ rear spoiler, paintwork, coilovers (dropping the car a little more).
  11. I voted 'yes' but as a backup car to give others an opportunity. :) My Z will look a little different too by the time the next show is upon us! :D
  12. This is the very first thing that cropped into my head!!
  13. There are 2 Japfest shows, maybe 3. Japfest, Japfest 2 and Japfest Finale I think? True, I don't go to these, they're not my sort of thing either. I used to go to Japfest occasionally when it was in Castle Combe. However the show rapidly went down hill and, despite the odd interesting vehicle that might be there, it's all a little bit - low-brow really. Row upon row of Honda Civics, Subaru Imprezas, drift wagons (something else that doesn't interest me very much). So for me, other than the club stand, there was nothing else there of any interest personally. But there's a track session and Castle Combe was a nice local track. It always seemed to be raining though! lol There are a few other shows. I wouldn't really call Beaulieu a National Event as such although we do get members along that live a little further north. ZClub also hold their own annual LakeZ event which actually looks really nice, but I've always been overseas when that's been on.
  14. I wouldn't be too disheartened with that figure. Quite a few members don't use the board regularly or at all and will show up. It does however show a drastic cut in popularity.
  15. No snow here thankfully. Dry here!
  16. Short answer is no. Electronic upgrades other than audio were never available as a 'stock' part. I see absolutely no point in either of them. I dislike turbo timers intensely as they take the common sense out of driving a turbocharged car. The best way to effectively cool a turbo is to drive off-boost a few miles from your destination. I don't like leaving a car idling at all anyway.
  17. I'd say that you're probably knocking on 90k-100k? Dude - clean that interior!! That's gross! PS...you can buy new pedal rubbers - they're pricy and they're easy to fit. :D
  18. Nice! I'll be doing this shortly as I want to retain the belts on the doors.
  19. That's what I did yeah. Having said that however, I'd have no problems fitting a re-powdercoated bracket.
  20. Probably JAE - Billing Aerodrome.
  21. Agreed! You should be been there last year! There, you do have the same idea as me! :)
  22. None taken. I will ask though, what sort of thing would you consider a show vehicle for something such at the Classic Car Show at the NEC? If you've ever been, you'll notice that it isn't full of track cars or heavily customised stuff, there are different shows for that (thankfully). FWIW, I don't think my Z is anything particularly amazing, but it is a very clean example of the marque, which is what the NEC show is all about. Having said that, it would be great to have a racing thoroughbred on the stand such as Jaffa's.
  23. I keep meaning to take a trip up to this place, but it's quite a way out of San Diego. San Jose is up near San Francisco and I'm never up there.
  24. Which one's you mate? :wack:
