  1. So I'm looking around eBay, as you do, when I come across a very familiar motor: Genuine Nismo Z32! No change to the blurb at all, but the price seems to have jumped up somewhat (from what I remember)!! Still lol'ing at the "Nismo steering wheel and seats" quote as well... tempted to ask if they've managed to find the £15k of receipts...
  2. He sounds like a right piece of work! Mini-meet at Sleaford, anyone...? ;)
  3. New Hicas arms and balljoints as there's a little play in the nearside one. Continue to look at my interior and wish I could spare the time to do some more trimming in there! Mine was knackered, Joel. And I cleverly forgot to pick a good one up from Lee's when I collected the car, so he's going to send one up with Hollings when he comes up to collect his revamped interior :thumbup1:
  4. I've got a few bits to sell now. All prices include delivery and payment is required by either Paypal (gift / buyer pays fees) or bank transfer. :) Front water pipes, ideal for polishing or chroming. SOLD! S1 PTU in perfect working order, as verified by Lee Dent. No issues whatsoever whilst it was on my car. £20 S2 PTU. No mounting, loom or anything - just the PTU itself. SOLD! Thanks :)
  5. Go fat, mate. You know you want to...!! :thumbup1:
  6. It's had a thorough checkover whilst it's been in Shrewsbury and apparently it is solid underneath - no areas of concern! :) Getting there slowly, mate. At least I know the engine's in good shape now. Just need to keep the bloody thing clean now!
  7. MOT expires in just over a month and the ad is suitably vague, saying just "minor TLC needed." A thorough check required, in my opinion :)
  8. I bought it off eBay last year. Got the towers shotblasted and primed, then sprayed them up here in the candy red to match the throttle cover and timing covers I did :)
  9. The service work was the priority, to be honest - cambelt, guides, tensioners... new thermostat and coolant... new fuel filter... replacement electrical connections and pipework... hardwired S2 PTU. I needed all that doing for peace of mind and to try and ensure that the motor stays healthy for as long as possible :) All the shiny stuff and whatnot, that was all secondary but I decided I might as well get it done as I probably wouldn't have a better opportunity
  10. As an added bonus, my new rear spats have been delivered in my absence today... and I can confirm that they definitely are the SWB type! :D
  11. Helluva change, right?! :D She's pushing more boost now as well, so the grin factor has multiplied considerably. Upgraded SMICs are fitted too, to help keep things nice and cool. EGR and carbon canister are now gone, and a load of connections have been replaced so she's simply in much better shape than she was! :thumbup1:
  12. She's home!!!!! :D :D Targas off all the way... glorious sunshine... a strong contender for best day ever! :D Anyway, the bit you've all (possibly) been waiting for..... before: And now: Massive thanks to Lee Dent for all his (and his minions') hard work - she's like a totally different car now and I've been grinning all the way home! :D
  13. I should get to Lee's unit around 11am tomorrow and, if I'm completely honest here, I absolutely can't wait! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!! :D
  14. Why do people keep calling me Lee...??
  15. ^^^^ Perfect customer for Gazwoz right there! Get him signed up as a Trader and off we go! :thumbup1:
  16. I think it's a good idea as the availablility of good Zeds really seems to be drying up here. That said, you may struggle a little to find people that are prepared to drop that much money (comparatively speaking) on one - we've had a few people recently who had around £4k, but nobody springs to mind who had a bigger budget than that. The fact that it'd be a fresh import should help though. But I think you'd need to be very clear about exactly how far your "services" extend - for example, will you take care of all the necessary registration and MOT'ing (for a charge, of course)? Or will your involvement end when the car hits UK shores?
  17. Then it hasn't happened. Yet. Until Thursday - then it'll have definitely happened!! :D
  18. Good things come to those who wait, and all that... ;)
  19. That's cos I haven't posted any pictures yet, mate - I'm waiting til she's back home before I do any "grand unveiling!" ;) Or do you mean about my Shortie spats.....
  20. Today: in addition to my finally securing a pair of OEM rear spats for the Shortie, Lee Dent's just sent me a text to say that she's back up and running again!! :D :D He sent a picture too. She's looking lovely now  Roll on Thursday when I go and collect her!!
