Door edge trims and LWB quarterglass trims
I have a pair of door edge trims and rear quarterglass trims (LWB model). These are in good condition with no damage or splitting to the rubbers. The bodies of the door trims have the very slightest of silver beginning to show through on the bottom edge and one of the quarter trims is showing the same. There is a also a slight kink in each of the door trims, as pictured. Looking for £35 delivered for the set of four :) I also have a pair of SWB quarterglass trims in very good condition - I'll get pictures of those once the car's back at home.

Scuttle panels - both sides!
I have a pair of scuttle panels with no cracks, deterioration or damage whatsoever. The rubber windscreen strips on both are present and undamaged as well. These have been sprayed in satin black but there is a little bit of reaction in a couple of places, as pictured. Looking for £60 for the pair delivered to your door :) Sorry, I won't split them - they have to go as a pair.

OEM rear spats (LWB)
I have a pair of OEM rear spats for sale for the LWB model. Overall in good condition. There are a couple of splits at the top mounting holes inside the wheelarch, as pictured. Currently sprayed in 673 Silver. Looking for £30 delivered to your door :)

Just home from the bodyshop and she's 50% back together now :) Bumpers, mirrors, door handles, nose panel and spats all need to be refitted yet but I got the new mouldings, scuttle panels and centre hook fitted - the brand new parts make a BIG difference!! Fitting the windscreen trims and the rear mouldings though... god, what a mission!! Hopefully I'll never have to do them again! So yeah, tomorrow should see her back at home again

Well, at least Z1 have sent me the right targa hook (according to that diagram, anyway) :thumbup1: And speaking of Z1: I popped over to Josh's gaff last night to collect the parts they'd actually shipped. When I got home, I realised that the clips for the scuttle panels were missing. So he rang me and, whilst on the phone, he had a proper check round all the boxes at his place. Imagine our collective surprise when my "non-shipped" bits turned out to be stuck at the bottom of a box!! That means that, thankfully, all the parts I ordered are here and ready for me to start putting Diesel back together again :) Which should be tomorrow morning, according to the bodyshop!! YAY!!

Sold by none other than Mr David Kemshall himself! Looked like a stock photo to me, rather than one a seller would take themselves. I actually had a bid on it and messaged him, asking if I could collect and pay cash - he said I could. Me and a couple of others were gonna have a mini-meet at his house  I'd be very interested to know if the winning bidder actually receives anything......

We'll have to leave the targa conundrum til my car's back home and Bird's been over so we can swap them around to see what's what, I think. FedEx have just been with my Z1 order and, thankfully, they've sent the right parts! A brand new set of Kuruma-Z door and quarterglass edges, just awaiting my newly-painted Zed  Speaking of my Zed, the last thing I heard last night is that the paintwork was finished on the body and just needed lacquer :) Then they've got all the bumpers and ancilliaries to paint. Then we can start putting her back together!!

Hmmm. So if the centre hook only has one part number, that must mean that there's no difference in actual curvature or width of the targa glass between the two models. And I can't imagine that the glass itself is any longer or wider either. So that must surely mean that the only difference between the SWB targas and the LWB targas is the end panel that sits on top of the window glass. Right...? So that should then mean that you could strip a UK blue glass targa down to the glass, and then simply fit that to a SWB end piece, thus giving you a blue glass SWB targa panel... ...right...?

That's interesting to know, JP. Makes me wonder why Z1 make customers specify whether they need it for the 2+2 or the 2+0....

Update time :) The good: my Zed's now in primer as we speak and should be ready to put back together this weekend  Can't wait! There is, however, a snag.... The bad: mine and Josh's order from Z1 has suffered from "poor picking" and some of our parts haven't been shipped! :( My new nose emblem is missing, which isn't the end of the world, but is an inconvenience. The potential big setback is that the clips for my new mouldings haven't been shipped either! Luckily (hopefully), I managed to remove the old mouldings without damaging the clips so I'm hoping I'll be able to re-use them to mount the new trims... Fingers crossed!!!

JaiKai - Full rebuild & Respray
I think you'll struggle to find the genuine rails for them! Maybe better off buying some universal sliders and fabbing a set up using a welder and the mounting lugs off your existing seats, Lee.

Big thanks to lee dent
Good to see she's all sorted for you now, mate! :thumbup1: He definitely knows his apples, that Lee Dent bloke!

I've been Googling the targa subject to death over the last couple of days and the general concensus seems to be that the two variants aren't interchangeable, primarily due to the curvature of the different rooflines. Which leads me to think that the centre bar must be different between the two as well. Here's what I'm wondering: Gary said he swapped his new centre bar from his Family Estate to his Shortie, so the mounting holes must be the same. But has this then enabled him to get the LWB targas to fit where they wouldn't normally do so...? Hmmm.....

Uk seller
Apparently, collecting this brand new bumper and paying cash isn't a problem :) Seriously, anyone fancy a mini-meet in Sleaford...??

Uk seller
He's a shady one, isn't he... he may have 100% Positive feedback, but it's all from buying rather than selling!!

Uk seller
Ah... so it's him that's selling that brand new front bumper, is it...? I wonder if I'd be able to collect it...?

I want his eBay one, Mark... I think I'd like to buy something.... ;)

Glass replacement - is it worth it?
Technically speaking, I'd only need 3 secondhand pieces: one rear quarter and a pair of targa panels. So the bulk of my hunting would already be done. But finding the missing pieces and actually getting them in my hands safely is a whole different story! I checked around online last night and I can theoretically source everything from the States, but purchase and shipping is not cheap and then there's the potential for some or all of the pieces getting destroyed in transit on such a long journey. That would leave me with presumably zero comeback with the sellers and back to square one, and out of pocket to boot. Then there's all the new seals required, which are either foolishly expensive again or simply not available any more! Then there's getting a brand new windscreen. That's not too bad, of course, but then there's getting the two screens and the quarter windows fitted, which just adds more expense into the pot. :( I love the idea of having blue glass in my car, I really do. But I've already ploughed a considerable amount of money into her (by my standards, at least) and, truth be told, there's not a great deal of cash left at the moment. There's still other things that I'd like or need to do to her that should realistically take precedence over changing something that doesn't honestly need to be changed. If I still had a 2+2 then I'd probably just do it, as the glass is fairly readily available in this country already. I guess this is another of those "that's what you get for wanting a Shortie" moments that I'm going to have to get used to.....
