traders feed back section ?
I'll take you to task on getting my name spelled correctly, Jeff...!! Also, I said ideally a bad review should only occur based on bad work. In the really real world, as you've stated, there are cliques that can form and suddenly a trader finds themselves being badmouthed all over the Net... I still honestly believe that even that should only begin due to a dissatisfied customer though. It's up to the trader to do everything in their power (short of ripping themselves off, of course) to ensure that each and every customer is a happy one. Again, ideal world maybe. :)

traders feed back section ?
I think I'm up for renewal in January some time, so I'm more than happy to play guinea pig for a "renewal poll" to see how it works out. Worth considering, guys...?

traders feed back section ?
Alternatively, why not have a poll when a Trader is coming up for renewal? The voters' identities aren't disclosed to anyone other than forum staff, much like COTM now. If a trader has the majority of positive votes, they're invited to renew. If not, then the trader is PM'd by Staff to tell them that their Trader status will come to an end at the renewal date. Best of both worlds...?

traders feed back section ?
I understand what you're saying, Gaz. But, realistically (and possibly ideally), the only reason any kind of feedback system would degenerate into mud-slinging would be if a trader gave a customer reason to leave neutral or negative feedback. If the trader and the customer are both happy then the feedback should reflect that. Again, ideally. I can't imagine there'd be any danger for this forum to be held accountable for any negative comments that might appear - a simple disclaimer should relieve that worry. :) I think if there were to be a feedback system implemented, it should be for both traders and customers!

Interior Retrim - DIY?
The Z32 interior is full of peculiar angles and edges, which makes trimming as per the factory finish quite difficult in places. Nissan used a large amount of heat and a bloody big press to ensure that all the edges and whatnot were wrinkle-free... DIYers and pro upholsterers have no such luxury, sadly. A lot of panels, such as the glovebox face and the centre console sides, are pretty straightforward but most other parts would benefit from being sewn together from multiple pieces to get a really nice finish. Or a professional. :) In all honesty, for what a kit from the US would cost you, then either forking out for hi-temp glue or paying someone to fit it all for you, you'd probably better off getting a UK trimmer to just make it all and fit it from scratch. :thumbup1:

The Before and After Thread.
It's been polished rather than chromed, and not by me either - I got it like this. Far too much hard work involved for my limited spare time!

The Before and After Thread.
I actually didn't mind them, despite hating 3 spokes - the problem was that they were only 17" and they wouldn't clear my front brakes. So the Diablos came onto this car instead. Despite them being a pig to clean, I've grown quite fond of the Diablos. Going to see about getting a price for a refurb on them soon :thumbup1:

The Before and After Thread.
I've decided to breathe some life into this thread again as it's approaching the 1 year anniversary of me buying my Shortie and I've been thinking about all the changes in that time. So here are the pictures that the previous owner sent to me shortly before I bought her: Tired paintwork, scuffs and dents, crazed rear lights and the tattiest interior in recorded history! Despite all these things, I still headed to Kent in October last year to collect her because Shortie :) So fast-forward almost 12 months and, after spending more hours and money than I'm comfortable thinking about, we end up with her now: Quite the transformation, I think! In a sense, it's almost scary how much time and money has been pumped into this car in just less than a year - as I've said previously, I've never spent so much on a car before... and it's not like the spending's stopped or anything! But anyway, there you go: my addition to this thread :thumbup1:

I had a look at these at JAE and decided against ordering anything... ...but I've just ended up ordering "his'n'hers" mugs anyway! Shame both our indicators are on though

My fresh import
Just not feeling the Lexus love there, Josh. Especially with the collapsed rear suspension on that last picture! If I'm totally honest, it reminds me of a Korean rip-off of a Japanese car...!! But hey, it's a daily driver for you... so there won't be any modding anyway... right...? Right...?! ;)

Roof trims... Advice needed..
It's because the trims have a rubber-like coating from new. It hardens up over the years and goes brittle, sadly. :(

Roof trims... Advice needed..
You asked for opinions. That's mine. As I said though, your car to do with as you please and to hell with what anyone else thinks :thumbup1:

Roof trims... Advice needed..
Not for me. Not at all. Between the gold trims and those nostrils, it's all a bit reminiscent of one of Max Power's finest! :hurl: That said, it's your car and there's only really your opinion about it that matters :thumbup1:

What's my strut brace worth?
Ok, I'm thinking of removing and selling my front strut brace. I'm not a huge fan of the engine being covered by it, personally. What's it worth though? I don't really want to stick it on eBay so I'd rather get a decent idea of worth and sell it to a fellow member here :) Unless someone really wanted Candy Red mounts, it'd need repainting or powder coating.

Strosek seats on eBay
Absolutely nothing special about these whatsoever in my opinion, aside from some embroidery on the headrests. Quite possibly just standard seats that have had a small amount of stitchwork done. Been for sale for a little while now. They don't look in the best condition either. Very worn and tired...

My fresh import
So that's, what, just 19 cars on your drive now, Josh? Glad you're happy with your new motor but, damn, she is one fugly car (in my opinion)! :D
