  1. Thats just prompted me to subscribe! PM sent Gary :thumbup1:
  2. Mines under the cover :-) ill look next time I'm out in it. What breaker you got terry?
  3. I appreciate your comments and will keep and eye on it. My main concern was the frost and water flowing into all the nooks and crannys whilst I'm not driving it for the next few weeks. Hopefully it'll survive ok.
  4. Could this be the same for the passenger side?
  5. I decided to buy one in the end and have been rocking it for about a week and so far so good. It's been wet and windy and hasn't flapped off or damaged anything (touch wood) and with a bed sheet underneath the cover it also seems dry. I wouldn't fancy it for a permanent thing but for the month or so I need it, it's happy days!
  6. Some nice cars around :-) Yeah, wanted a bit more poke without going mad and maintaining an ounce of reliability and so far, so good. Love the Z but feel the powers a bit lazy at times so enjoy ragging the tits off the XR as can be a bit more satisfying in a strange way!
  7. Hi and welcome, I think I see this on eBay recently. Like the F40 style wheels :-)
  8. White is really in at the mo and suits anything sporty... Just make sure it's proper white white (rather than 'off white') Or maybe a nice bright silver as will be easy to paint over whatcha already got. Ford Moondust silver is a nice bright choice.
  9. I was worried about the rot on mine but it seems to be at a stage of prevention rather than total re shell. The arches are a touch bubbly but have been forever and the sills are a bit untidy after some hooky jacking at some point in its life but all in all she's ok. Good luck with the project tho mate and I like the pics! Once you've welded it give Terry a call to smooth em off for you :thumbup1: Only messing
  10. Probably a REEEEEEEE-POST and old but made me laugh... And is sadly too true!
  11. Brilliant!! Love the Minis!
  12. A pair of very nice fleets there
  13. Cheers, she's not a bad old girl :-) She attracts nice comments, think people have their own memories of them... Erm, kinda
  14. As well as the Z, what other toys have people got? He's my first love.. A MK2 Zetec XR2 And here she is tucked up for winter :-) Roll on next spring!
  15. I'm sure it'll come out just fine, looking forward to seeing it! You haven't still got the R33 wheels have you? Really like them at the mo.
  16. Good work, glad to hear its taking shape
  17. It's tricky, but I feel bad everytime I see thick frost on it. I'm not using it for the next month or so, so thought I would cover it. Ill letcha know how it goes.
  18. Hmmm, think its worth a go and hopefully the spring will come round quick!
  19. Anyone use one? I'm just thinking of getting a cheapy to reduce the harsh effects of winter. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=565261&categoryId=165611&langId=-1 What length is a LWB? Would a large be flapping around do you reckon?
  20. Superb, thank you for clarifying that. I take it the ones i've seen missing the control unit means they've been locked out...
  21. Haha, fair point, it could be more than 5 things I guess, but i'm reffering to the metal piece with pipes coming off it
  22. Welcome to the UK forum! Dont they have owners clubs in other countries?!
  23. Whats this? I've seen some Z's with it and some without... If its optional, why do people remove them?
  24. This side of Christmas is no good to me sadly... New year is different story tho :-)
