  1. Evening all, I'm bored watching Africa on BBC 1, great programme. Whatcha all up to? Any plans for Jan? Bit of a boring month really but got lots of car/show/track stuff to look forward to this year.
  2. Wow, keep up the great positivity and I wish you well. Mine is to live it up and make stuff happen... like usual I guess... but to keep the momentum up and keep pushing forward.
  3. Thanks for all your input. As I want her as original as possible I'm sticking with the dark pinstripe. Width is to be confirmed as will measure what's on it at the mo. Can wait to show it soon to see what you guys think in the flesh :-)
  4. I really like the pinstripe so it's gonna stay, think I may just get some replacement dark grey/black stripe and replace it all the way round. Losing the stonechip sounds like a nice idea but a lot of work? Plus I really love the stock look so think its gotta stay too... Am I being boring?!
  5. As the bodywork is undergoing a freshen up, I want to replace the 'pinstripes' (I guess they're called that) I know the pics are rubbish but its this black stripe I'm talking about... I've used DMB graphics in the past but can't see anything for the Z. What have people on here used? Ta in advance
  6. Howdy... Welcome to the party. I've found it invaluable here for info so far, get some pics up and get involved :thumbup1::thumbup1:
  7. Ahhh, like what you've done there! I've managed to get the front off after lots of messing around and swearing and blah blah but the back isn't budging. Once it stops raining I'm gonna give this a try. Is it worth asking around now for bootlid dent removal and new rear glass?!? Ha :tt2:
  8. Nice choice. Sound awesome and go like the clappers. People that know cars will know what it is and appreciate it. I like German cars and they're excellent at what they do but can lack soul and character sometime. Enjoy the new beast tho
  9. That's the fella! Can't the club purchase one and rent out to needy idiots like me?! Think ill use it 3 times (for the z) and then forget where I put the thing when I need it again in 10 years time!
  10. Oo-er missus. Cool, ill give it another go. Thank y'all.
  11. Nuts undone and folded the arm up and down and all sorts. Maybe I'm being a lefty about it and just need to get involved and not be scared of it. I ask as I vaguely remember a windscreen fitter saying some cars need a tool thing to remove some arms. Odd.
  12. Are mine just stuck or do I need a special tool? They've been wiggled, WD40'd, tapped, and they ain't playing ball. I need to remove the arms to get repainted. Ta
  13. Hi everyone, Just wanted to get people talking about a North Kent meet sometime early Jan. I know we could coincide it with a Supra meet but I think we could maybe do our own thing with just Zeds. Bluewater is an ideal location, especially this time of year as its lit and under cover but its just a suggestion. So what do we reckon? Any location preferences? Not expecting a mahoosive turn out or making an evening of it, but thought it'll be nice for some introductions and some photos and Zeds with their brothers (or Jap cousins :tt2:) to break the winter blues!
  14. Ha, M&S crackers have gone downhill
  15. What's the difference between a Porsche 911 and a pile of dead prostitutes? I haven't got a Porsche 911 in my garage. Merry Christmas.
  16. I done a lot of the prep work myself via sanding/shotblasting and then had them painted by a smart repairer friend. Look vastly improved and for a tenth of the price of Lepsons (although I love their work)
  17. Thank you. I was tempted to change for maybe bigger but love the staggered look and (bizzarrely) love the design. Now nice and new looking too :tooth:
  18. Not a particularly exciting update but I've had my wheels refurbed. Always get amazed at what a difference a wheel refurb does to a car!
  19. Very nice! Like the wheels Also, I see you're in Rochester same as me! Wanna get the ball rolling for a Kent meet soon. Thinking maybe bluey or Dockside etc in the new year.
  20. As above, if they know what they're doing and handy on a Z then that's a good price IMO. If not, then budget on a bit more as it may take them by suprise. Plus somets likely to snap etc once works underway.
  21. Cor, your car really is in bits ain't it! Nice and protected which is the main thing, looks good too!
  22. Thanks, is it an easy job?! Somet so easy seems to look complicated?!
  23. Most useful. Thank you.
  24. I'm removing the front bumper to get the splitter repainted. I see its been discussed before but has anyone got any pics/diagrams of the fixings as I don't wanna put it around and snap anything. Thanks in advance.
