  1. I may come but won't run the zed, even if I've still got it. I'm having my little Zetec Mk2 Fiesta fettled with so may look to see what she's kicking if its ready in time. Seems unlikely tho... These days are always great fun tho
  2. Mine had a brake line advisory but it only meant the bit between the calliper and the flexi... £40ish quid a corner or DIY
  3. The new Ford 1.0 ecoboost Focus I've got suprised people with 125ps... Plus they've wound it up to 200ps and put it in a Formula Ford single seater and it rips! The block also sits on a bit of A4 paper to so really light.
  4. But the ad, pictures, price is sensible we reckon? I guess it's a nichè(?) market and just need to sit tight.
  5. Sorry to ask this guys but want your advice.... Had it up for about a week and had a few watchers and messages on eBay but nothing's come of it. I know the weathers been kack which may have an influence but is it priced too high? Surely the ones that are on there for £4995 or £5995 are never gonna sell? Do these normally take a while to move on? Is the price fair but time of year/weathers not on my side? Only reason I'm asking is after my cricket ball incident I've lost a fair bit of money thru being off work, and to top it off, im not able to drive at all till I'm all repaired. :wheelchair: Be brutally honest, I'm a man of the world, it's ok :-) Internal link below... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?167061-92-UK-300zx-LWB-Twin-Turbo
  6. Ah fair play, always handy to know there may be a useful pair of hands nearby in the event of it trying to kill itself! I'm no mechanic but don't mind giving it a go... but the z scares me... Dunno why really, guess its because I've always had older 4 pot Fords and this is a million miles away from one of them!
  7. Looks 10% ok on a Lambo... But would look 100% shite on a Zed
  8. Super, thanks for your help.
  9. Awesome, lets give that a go. Thank you!
  10. Not sure of the measurements but so it looks like yours at the bottom of the page... Nice and neat!
  11. Could the powers that be possibly, kindly resize my sig picture please... Been messing around with it and its not having any of it. Thank you in advance and then pls lock/delete this thread. Much love
  12. Do you charge good rates for local people off here Terry?!
  13. £5k?!?! Maybe I should be bolder on my price... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?167061-92-UK-300zx-LWB-Twin-Turbo
  14. Welcome to the forum and if you want a UK LWB come buy mine, I'm only in Kent
  15. Ha, you nerds :tooth: I like those sorta things but could never face owning them myself. I work for Ford and my friends give me grief for having Ford pens, jackets etc..!
  16. Yum! Very impressive beasts
  17. Some proper handy work there! Can't you find some steelies with chrome dome caps and white wall tyres?! Think some rims is all it needs to finish it off
  18. That one sounds half sensible, although the story seems made up. All the time you don't have to pay out yourself then run with it for a bit. See what happens!
  19. That's looking great, like the black and white contrast! Never been a fan of proper black black wheels, had some before and they go a funny browny colour when dirty! Looking forward to seeing it finished....
  20. Ha, good work. Why are pirates called pirates...? They just Arrrrrrgh
  21. Ha, I love a bit of gore too, it's ok... I'm over the worst of it now and been advised that it shouldn't deteriorate which is a relief. Thanks for asking though and ill pop another pic up over the next few days to show it repairing!
  22. Looking the business and gonna go like stink no doubt.
  23. This was about an hour after it happened before we knew the extent of it... It's currently looking a bit less swollen now but a slightly darker colour. Felt like dying in that pic but my mate insisted on taking it!
  24. You're very polite and patient. Been scammed (or had attempted scams) in the past. Sometimes it's a laugh to see what they say but sadly some people never cotton on and get done. I once had an email from a guy wanting to buy a £20k car with no negotiation or anything, emailed me a card number for £1000 to reserve and then said would transfer the rest. He was American but said was staying in Australia and wanted the car to travel around Europe ending up in Greece a year later. Had hooky all over it but ran with it as he only wanted to pay us, not the other way round. It turned out to be 100% genuine and one of the nicest guys ever! Got a black cab from Heathrow to me and off he went. Only in Nov just gone he bought it back and we bought it off him with another 15k on the clock! He was a wealthy guy who wanted to tour Europe and not hire cars from place to place. Like said above, run with things a bit as not everyone is a wrongun :taz:
