  1. rang our local clifford dealer and he wants £9.99 for a wiring diagram. couldn't find anything on the site, its now Gap Security, they're the ones charging £150... They are cowboys mate and would stay well clear I can give you a copy of the installation manual for nothing but i cant see what use it would be to you to be honest Paul
  2. I always put alarm ecu next to or under the car ecu under the wooden panel in passenger side floor pan
  3. Slightly Ric, although i do get about a bit Paul.
  4. I very much doubt that the problem is with the alarm, but rather the car as the alarm just sitts on top and monitors the condition on the door contact eg earth to trigger and activate courtesy light. Try tracing wires back to were alarm is connected then disconnect to see if problem goes. If yes try a diode in line with the alarm connection. If this doesnt work then the alarm has propably been connected to the wrong wire on the int light circuit. I am an approved Clifford installer. Paul.
  5. Im working and staying in Bolton next week and am an approved Toad engineer so can have a look if you want Paul
  6. Yes, Toad and Sigma are part of the same company.
  7. It is part of the combined alarm/immobiliser system and means that you have to type in a 4 digit pin into a keypad before you can start the car
  8. No it means that the manufacturer has paid thatcham to get on the list for a certain length of time, usually when the alarm is old or the company goes under they are removed from list I would recommmend the SIGMA S30 as its the most modern/secure/compact alarm on the market at min and has unique keyguard system which means car cant be started even if your keys are nicked, I can supply and fit for £250 with certificate
  9. I am vsib, mesf approved engineer but im pretty sure the sikure and vecta are no longer thatcham approved products. Would prob be cheaper and more reliable to fit a new system Paul,
  10. If you werent so far away mate i would have been able to help you Paul.
  11. Cat 1 is an alarm/immobiliser combined cat 2 is an immobiliser only cat 2to1 is an alarm upgrade for factory fitted cat2 system Paul.
  12. I fit them in the nosecone under the airbox
  13. Ive got 3 units (alarm, intelistart, intelivoice) all positioned perfectly in amongst the vehicle brains
  14. Ive got mine under the wooden cover with the engine management
  15. I would fit a SIGMA S30 (part of toad) its a lot more modern design and is the siren and box are half the size as a 606. Also has keytheft protection
  16. There not actuallly imports, Falcon is in Warrington. It will have lost all its settings and rpm sense so will need to do it all again Paul.
  17. LED on constantly usually means alarm is in "VALET" mode Paul
  18. Sat down and thought about it this morning and its quite easily done by running ign feed to alarm through a relay so yes i can sort out the problem:hyper:
  19. Cant think of a cheap method at min
  20. This cant be done with sigma as it will only be cutting starter and fuel pump if fitted correctly. The sigma needs to see an ignition feed
  21. on a clifford you just need to move the output from timer to the other side of ignition cut
  22. alarm wont activate if ign input shows +12v
  23. Im a Sigma dealer/engineer.
  24. car model was found off the reg input of the quote engine
