  1. Black/red from the ignition switch. It stays live while the engine is cranking aswell

  3. It is the correct jap spec belt
  4. I've tightened it so that if I hold the belt between my thumb and forefinger I can twist the belt about 90degrees either way, I was thinking that it might be worn pulleys as they've done 102,000 miles Paul
  5. I've just put a brand new fan belt on and it seems to be tight enough but it keeps slipping when I first start the car, or let the revs drop low, or the engines under load like lights on and stuff? Paul

  7. Is the jap import alternator belt the same size as the uk one? I can't seem to get one that fits as still slips adjusted to the max! Anyone got a part number?
  8. What's the best way, do I take it up to running temp with cap on or off? Any other pointers? Have got heater temp to high 40 Paul

  10. Don't think so as the plugs are soaked but not sooty, didn't unplug CAS just ptu and temp sensors, didn't disconnect battery
  11. Am soo ready to drag my car onto wasteland and set fire too it! Have just changed my thermostat after the cars intermittent overheating problem and now it won't fu€$#n start at all! It just soaks the plugs and floods! Have checked all connections and they seem tobe fine HELP!!

  17. How the f$#k do you unloosen/adjust the power steering belt so i can get it off to replace the alternator belt, am ready to take large hammer to it! Have loosened the 2 bolts on the tensioner arm and the slide adjuster bolt thingy Pictures and diagrams would be nice

  20. Lost some auto gearbox oil when I hadn't tightened up a pipe correctly on radiator so now have no drive! What's easiest way to top up and what kind of fluid do I need to use? Paul

  22. Yes I've done a few members cars on here, I used to be a senior engineer at toad/sigma and have been fitting them for 14 years. The S30 is extremely reliable and I've never had any problems at all. They come with a lifetime warrenty and I give a limited lifetime WARRENTY on the install, it's basically covered while you own the car. I can cover your postcode but would need to put £15 on for my fuel costs
