Have just been offered a H reg uk TT, 1 owner from new with 46,000 miles on clock but it has sat in a dry garage for over 6 years, is the engine likely to be ok or should i be a bit wary. Its a manual Paul

Just had a quote of performance direct (chaucer) for fully comp on my jap import TT zed £126 Have contacted the company direct to make sure wasnt a mistake and it isnt! I am 40 yr old with a clean licence and no claims in the last 5 years. ive got no ncb but have had a company car for nearly 8 years with no claims. cover is for max 5000 miles a year and a £300 excess Paul.

Not many individuals are VSIB registered as its so bloody expensive so its mainly big companies and often does not reflect quality of engineer only how much money is handed over. I would be looking for an MESF registered and qualified installer as this actually means something in the trade. I have been VSIB accredited under the umbrella of 2 companies and some of there fitters were bloody terrible Paul.

I use JL Audio zr range or FOCAL if youve got tons of money Paul.

theres 4 on the fly loom for the 2 cuts and 5 on the main loom for power/ign/earth etc
