so peeps.. what should the next stage be? apexi intake... check japspeed exhaust system.. check japspeed decats.. check 2x Bailey DV26 BOVs.. check HKS EVC 3.. check ECU chipped and mapped to 1 bar.. check nasty annoying rusty lumps removed and welded and sorted at the bodyshop... check fuel pump a good next step? so far i've managed to bring all that together including the purchase of the car for £2.1k and am on a budget. suggestions?

medallion man posted a link above. am i right in thinking decent d1 wheel nuts will help the wheels centre down better? i had a problem on my rx7 where the stock nuts didnt centre down nicely and you could still see the thread on the stud.

spiggot rings are common place on 3rd party wheels. i've got a problem with vibration under braking. i'm guessing warped disc, as I have no vibration when accelerating or @/around 60 which would have suggested a good wheel balance. any other ideas?

saying that mate, they do that on all standard z32 downpipes anyway right?

and would we not need 2?

passenger side wastegate, doddle to get to. driver side - no thanks lol. hence all the tracing of vac lines up to the top. there was no way i could get the the wastegate actuator that side on mine! glad we figured it out. i reckon i had a leak too before from the stock boost gauge t-piece

for popping around this afternoon and giving some advice while we were fitting my HKS EVC 3 :) you'll be pleased to here she is boosting happily at 14.5psi, ecu is mapped for the job, and it loves to break traction all the time now :taz:

just noticed some zeds have different boost figures on the stock oem boost guage. some are +7, some say +14 is this a uk/import thing? i thought stock boost was around 9.5, so why the difference? the above reads -7 +7, mine are -14, +14 someone put me out of my misery :)

be easier to rebuild and tune a dirty v12 from somewhere wouldnt it?

love that colour.. same as my grande punto sporting daily wagon. needs lots of black to offset the orange though ;) a 300 would look nice with the afterburner style clear LED rear lights/facia too rather than having red vs orange at the back :)

i fitted a smaller wheel in my rx7 and it got on my nerves having to wind more. i wont be doing the same thing with the zed!

just out of interest...was this sold to manta? then to me by any chance? Silver zed, blue calipers. I've just had to have the other side welded same section this week, and when i checked the opposite corner, I remember saying, couldnt be more different, its absolutely solid and must have had some work/paint at some point... or did this turn out into your magnificent blue beast?

that wouldnt be good for it, and you shouldnt see gains that high from what you've installed i dont think. Aftermarket boost controller fitted? if so, it may need to re-learn (see the manual) now you've changed the conditions its been working under.

ah ok. is this because the is no gasket of any kind at the point where its split? only on the outer seal, not the inner split seal.

interested to see if anyone is running screamer pipes on stock turbos as below: /want.
