  1. i know voddy, probably only got 3-4mm on these left. not looking forward to the bill replacing them!
  2. think i've got 285/35/19 on the rear of mine.. and i still wish they were bigger :D
  3. wouldnt decatting reduce back pressue?? therefore less potential stall/strain on the turbo?
  4. cheers. i saw the price of new ones... and was a tad shocked! hence the restore option. so far its cost me less than £10 :P but heres a link to them anyway: http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=516&Itemid=7
  5. you can bet whatever is behind that bubble will need chopping out! i had a bubble the size of a 1p on my rear arch. you dont wanna see how much they cut/ground out!
  6. the lil ones! dremel + 1200 grade sanding. primed, then sprayed with liquid plastic. panned out ok.. now for the big ones :P think they had been painted before, but the finish had shrunk massively exposing the aluminium underneath. it was annoying me... now it doesnt. :)
  7. if you dont mind me asking, how much does it cost to get your plenum powder coated?? was thinking of going black.
  8. they're well priced too at the moment. i have a soft spot for the nismo version. surely chip, filter and zaust would make a good difference to the bhp front, and, with so many around, i bet parts arent too bad. i worry 300zx's are going to get very pricey with the volume being broken!
  9. agreed, shouldnt have to worry full stop. copper lines ;)
  10. u know what i mean steams! thankfully, had the guys fit a couple of extra unions so the sub frame doesnt have to be jiggled again if i need to replace any sections.
  11. just as a heads up, the brake lines are a big job on these.. especially with the abs unit underneath getting in the way of everything. had all of mine replaced, £440 inc labour and braids to replace the flexis. if you're not doing it yourself, which unless you have a nice 2 poster to jack it up, get saving up ;) congrats on the pass though fella, just remember the lines will only get worse yea :)
  12. mines an Audrey.. she knows her place. ;)
  13. useful! started refurbing the mini ones next to the targas today now i know how to get the off
  14. the only directional one in a series 1 is to the windscreen using the button. then blowers just go everywhere if they are on the rest of the time.
  15. if you could mould vomit into the shape of a car, it would resemble that.
  16. ah ok. quite a few meets with RMCC i see on facebook. if we do any more, or if you come up huntingdon way at all, let me know in this thread or something.
  17. I had my old girl over the other side. I had a little snoop around your zeds, but had no idea who owned it as there were a whole bunch of you lol mine over the otherside.. was parked near that open wheel hotroddy thing :)
  18. spotted 2 zeds there the other week. i was there in mine, wondered if they were club cars or not?
  19. if they'd been fitted 15mm lower, i reckon it would have looked ok.. too near the top lip of the boot. still prefer 99 spec or crystals.
  20. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300-ZX-TURBO-veilside-1-owner-ONLY-60k-miles-original-japan-history-/330854483622?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4d0876c6a6 looks a good price to me..
  21. amazing project, love how tight the panel alignment is... and now looks like you've gotta do it all over again lol :D now doubt this will be one of the tightest, tidiest and well maintained zeds on the road.
  22. that looks classy! one of my favourites on here now i've seen it. makes a change from the usual
