I liked the scooter ad - LOL
  2. Hi Paul Yep twas me! As I told you however, the rad isn't actually in the car yet and I'm not sure when I'm going to have time to do it.. It almost certainly won't be in before Trax I'm afraid :( If I manage to get it fitted any sooner, I'll keep you in touch by PM mate.. Steve :)
  3. Mmmm - I've just had a PM from Ryan with the same opinion Andy and he's got a spare one! I'll have a go over the weekend and see what happens  CheerZ Steve :)
  4. Since having my cam covers off and removing/refitting the temp sensors on the top water pipe I've been having problems. The electric fan seems to come on as soon as the car has warmed up. I can then park up, wiggle the connector (the yellow block) and the fan seems to switch between off/low/high speeds. If I then switch off for an hour or two and restart the engine, the electric comes back on immediately. My after market temp gauge is only showing about 85 degrees when at full temp and it doesn't have to be a warm day... I have stripped back the tape on the wiring and exposed the sender as much as I dare and all looks fine. Can the sender itself develop a fault or is this more likely to be an electrical connection? If electrical, can anyone recommend a good way of repairing it? Or is it just a case of buy a new sender? CheerZ for any help! Steve :)
  5. Agree about the kids issue - it's a shame that some people have an over protective attitude, but you do still have to drum it into them to be street wise... I wouldn't take offence at the mother's attitude - I've had it myself  Roughly how old do you think the kid was? As for the rest of your post, I can't remember the last time I went to a cobblers. LOL - do we still have them round here? Steve :)
  6. Maybe some sort of PA system to announce when things are starting (AGM, PeterR's talks etc..) Once we'd strayed from the schedule, it was difficult for people to keep up with what was going on... I was parked and hung around next to the marquee most of the time but not everyone was so lucky... Otherwise, excellent all round! CheerZ Steve :)
  7. Well done Stu and unlucky Jock! A very impressive turnout for this poll.. Steve :)
  8. Bit more information here HTH Steve :)
  9. I think there have to be visible signs warning of the intent to clamp offenders and the release penalty. You really would have to get your management agent to take care of it. Also, there would have to be a way of identifying legally parked vehicles (eg: permit etc..) which is more expense and hassle :( Steve :)
  10. Nice pics James and good to see you bud! Why did you shoot off so early (or did I just turn up too late? :slap: ) CheerZ Steve :)
  11. LOL - isn't that going to act as an insulator for the heat generated by the engine Pete? Or is the foil supposed to be on the outside? :p Steve :)
  12. Just got back from Billing too - she didn't go - B for me... Steve :)
  13. I'm very happy with my Primera 2.0 SVE which I use for work. Looks are an aquired taste but it drives well and is very reliable... Steve :)
  14. Please bring one to Billing for me Neet... CheerZ Steve :)

Very true Mike - I remember buying my first Zed for £18k and selling it a year later for 13K. 5K in a year! The running costs killed me because it was my daily drive (and I was a wee youngster - this was 10 years ago! ;) ) Steve :)
  16. Roy, I get mine done at Ancaster Nissan in South Croydon. They're pretty switched on but I'm not sure how the Soop is treated re: cats. Mine were removed last year and they commented on it but passed it with no hassles. PM me if you're interested and I'll dig up the contact info for you... Steve :)
  17. Animals, Novas, Saxos etc... ;) Steve :)
  18. Do a search - he posts on here as "The Devil" ;) Steve
  19. I'll be heading up on Saturday Paul - possibly with a couple of others as well.. Steve :)
  20. C'mon Nelson - I've never met you either (and I'm going to Billing on my own as well) Steve :) PS. This post contains no suggestive or lewd material
  21. I hope you weren't referring to me there! PM me over the weekend if you can't get it sorted and I might be able to pop over bud! Steve :)
  22. Nearest place has got to be Nisstek (SE Nissan) in Maldon. They used to do cambelt change for about £250 - not sure now though? Make sure you get a definite deadline when you book the car in - 01621 858856 HTH Steve :)
  23. LOL - nuff said!   Steve ;)
  24. LOL - don't worry! The GTR forum's got a DaveW as well. Bob knows who he is.. :) Steve
  25. Thanks Bob - DaveW's blown his turbos so that deal went out the window :( CheerZ Steve :)
