Try Mailwasher mate. It's free and can check your POP3 mailbox online without downloading everything. Also, you can blacklist senders and bounce junk e-mail back to them as if your address is no longer valid. You can even delete messages from the server before your e-mail client downloads them for real. Have a look here HTH Steve :)
