  1. Yep - that should cut the cost down! If you call their freephone number and speak to one of their technical guys (they know the 300 quite well), they should be able to give you an approximate quote over the phone. You then just have to decide on which tailpipe you want... HTH Steve
  2. I think it was about £760 - the decat pipes were made so I can keep the old cats and fit them back if I need to for MOT etc.. They've even offered to swap 'em over for me free if they're not too busy. Top customer service! Where are you based mate? CheerZ Steve
  3. Try Longlife exhausts mate! Top quality SS, big choice of tailpipes, choice of "noise level", custom made to fit and lifetime guarantee. There's one in Wallington (nr Croydon). Some more info here A couple of guys on here have used them and I've heard nothing but excellent reviews.. Longlife link HTH Steve
  4. Ady, I would expect to pay in the region of £7,000 (private) or £8000 (trade) for this age UK car in the condition you describe. They are extremely rare and very seldom seen up for sale. As mentioned in another thread I have an agreed value of £9,000 (full loss) on my non-stock '93 UK with my current insurance company. I would be happy to provide you with copies of documentation to substantiate this if you require it. All the best Steve
  5. LOL 6! I'm a saint! Must be old age setting in... Steve
  6. Congrats on keeping the Zed mate! Oh, and well done on Emma's safe arrival as well! ;) CheerZ Steve :D
  7. Paul, does this suggest that my engine is shagged then? :( (290 RWHP at Thor - about 350 at fly?) Still running stock UK chip but peak boost is about 14psi... CheerZ Steve
  8. LOL - tell him to "die" and "watch tv" - cracked me up...   Steve

  12. How could you re-fuse hospitality like that Ryan?   Steve
  13. Matty, word of warning - I noticed tonight that I've got an asbestos warning label on the underside of the bonnet where the blanket was! Was a bit worried as you said you ripped yours off and got fibers everywhere! Anyway, also found out I've got a coolant leak from the top rad hose as I had white crap (evaporated coolant) all over the underside of my shiny bonnet! Tightened it up and sorted! :) CheerZ Steve :)
  14. Took mine off today as well Matty! Nice and easy - dropped a couple of the plastic poppers into the engine bay though - doh! How was your job messy though mate? Steve
  15. Ady, more info here mate - may be helpful! Steve
  16. That's b0llocks Ady! Hit back at the ins company straight away. If necessary show them ads of similar vehicles. This one is a 93 UK and is for sale for almost £9000. I've had mine covered with agreed value of £9000 on my classic policy and it's not had major money spent on it - just a well looked after UK car. The insurance company (Carole Nash) agreed to it in writing almost straight away on receipt of current photographs.. Get on it mate and stuff the b*stards! Good luck Steve :)
  17. Install guide here Steve
  18. Nice one Ryan - I'll be round soon! Nothing to do on the car mate, but the food round yours has been getting some good reviews! Steve ;)

  21. James Maybe you should take a deposit of everyone on the order to ensure you don't get stiffed... Maybe 20/30 quid a head... CheerZ Steve PS. If you want some help let me know bud...

  23. Mark You shouldn't need to pay at all mate! Try re-registering with a new forum name and your current e-mail address and after about 5 mins you should recieve an e-mail from "SXOC Bulletin Board Mailer". Click on the link in the message then go to the message board, log in and you should be able to post without a problem... HTH Steve ;)
