very disappointed!
Well said Scoops :) I don't think that Adam was "inciting a flame war" - if we don't have a bit of friendly banter between forums/clubs then this place would become sooooo boring (http://www.mkivsupra.net anyone? ;) ) If I still owned an MR2 and was reading such blinkered crap on a forum where I still had so many good mates then I'd take offence. Personally, I kept out of it because I felt that I couldn't add anything constructive... Oh well, no lasting damage I hope :) CheerZ Steve PS. I'd love to go to the pod - maybe I'ill get round to it this year! ;)

Steve-O
The mr2 account was being used by a number of their users to stir trouble and was correctly banned imho :)

Steve-O
C'mon fellas - I thought it was only a bit of harmless banter.. I can't understand why Steve-o has apparently got so upset :( Steve

Courtsey Nissan USA Order
As far as I know it's ok if the order is kept to a "reasonable" level. Not sure that "reasonable" has been defined yet though... Hope it's ok - I spent ages creating all those bloody links :( Steve :)

Who was i talking to at Billing with a Koyo ?
Hi Paul Yep twas me! As I told you however, the rad isn't actually in the car yet and I'm not sure when I'm going to have time to do it.. It almost certainly won't be in before Trax I'm afraid :( If I manage to get it fitted any sooner, I'll keep you in touch by PM mate.. Steve :)

Faulty ECU Temp Sensor?
Mmmm - I've just had a PM from Ryan with the same opinion Andy and he's got a spare one! I'll have a go over the weekend and see what happens  CheerZ Steve :)

Faulty ECU Temp Sensor?
Since having my cam covers off and removing/refitting the temp sensors on the top water pipe I've been having problems. The electric fan seems to come on as soon as the car has warmed up. I can then park up, wiggle the connector (the yellow block) and the fan seems to switch between off/low/high speeds. If I then switch off for an hour or two and restart the engine, the electric comes back on immediately. My after market temp gauge is only showing about 85 degrees when at full temp and it doesn't have to be a warm day... I have stripped back the tape on the wiring and exposed the sender as much as I dare and all looks fine. Can the sender itself develop a fault or is this more likely to be an electrical connection? If electrical, can anyone recommend a good way of repairing it? Or is it just a case of buy a new sender? CheerZ for any help! Steve :)

parents and cobblers
Agree about the kids issue - it's a shame that some people have an over protective attitude, but you do still have to drum it into them to be street wise... I wouldn't take offence at the mother's attitude - I've had it myself  Roughly how old do you think the kid was? As for the rest of your post, I can't remember the last time I went to a cobblers. LOL - do we still have them round here? Steve :)

Lessons to learn for Billing next year, your opinions please?
Maybe some sort of PA system to announce when things are starting (AGM, PeterR's talks etc..) Once we'd strayed from the schedule, it was difficult for people to keep up with what was going on... I was parked and hung around next to the marquee most of the time but not everyone was so lucky... Otherwise, excellent all round! CheerZ Steve :)

Club Secretary Election Result
Well done Stu and unlucky Jock! A very impressive turnout for this poll.. Steve :)

Clamping
Bit more information here HTH Steve :)
-
Clamping
I think there have to be visible signs warning of the intent to clamp offenders and the release penalty. You really would have to get your management agent to take care of it. Also, there would have to be a way of identifying legally parked vehicles (eg: permit etc..) which is more expense and hassle :( Steve :)

Billing Pics - Mass Merge
