  1. You'll need a long reach hex tool to undo the covers themselves. Plus fan, PTU, CAS and top water pipes (from memory) need to come off... HTH Steve :)
  2. Great times fellas. Wish I could have been there as well! :( Steve :)

  5. Hi all There is a meeting coming up at the Grasshopper Inn, Westerham on Sunday 17th October at midday. This is a joint gathering with the Z Club and the 350Z crowd. Be great to see a good display of Z32s there too  It's a huge old pub with great food and a massive car park just off the A25 (good access from the M25). Local map on their website here Please add your name to this thread if you're up for it.. CheerZ Steve :) PS. Thanks to John-Boy for the heads up

  11. Nice one Mike  Steve :)
  12. Many thanks Paul - you've saved me some ground work bud! The fog lamps have three electical feeds - am assuming ground, and switched live for each lamp. Should I bother about a fuse for the fog lamps? CheerZ Steve :)
  13. Having had my 99 Spec front fitted, I have finally got hold of some J Spec front fog lights with integral side lights. Currently the front fog positions are filled with the UK spec side light/indicator combo which are still working. Does anyone know if the 99 spec indicators have integral side lights (I had assumed they did) and are therefore compatible with the UK connector? I assume that I will need to split the sidelight switched live to the Jap fogs sidelight connector when I wire in the new switch for 'em from the cabin? Have not explained this very well, so hope you understand what I'm getting at  CheerZ for any help! Steve :)
  14. It's a series 1 mate so you won't need a harness. DaveC sells the series 2s for around £160 with harness. Let me know if you still want to borrow my one for testing as it may save you the expense anyway if yours is ok ;) Steve :)
  15. If you need a loan PTU to check if this is the problem, let me know bud. If you wanted to keep it it (only 3 years old - done about 10k miles) I'm selling it for £60 plus P&P. HTH Steve :)
  16. Agreed Tony :)
  17. I had this on VHS but the Mrs taped over it  I'd love a VCD copy Mike - let me know if you want something for it bud and if you need my address (think I've PM'd it to you before..) CheerZ Steve :) ** EDIT ** Can also download it if some kind soul can host it.. ;)
  18. LOL - class Pete    Those GTO boys better have good eyesight though ;) Steve :)
  19. Am assuming that you have replaced the top and bottom rad pipes. Remember that you will need to tighten the jubilee clips on all of the new pipes when the car is hot. The clips do expand when the engine gets warm and this will lead to leaks if not retightened... Deffo doesn't sound like the expansion tank if it's leaking on driver's side. HTH Steve :)
  20. Should be paypal@300zx.co.uk HTH Steve :)
  21. Got my 99 spec front bumper on at the weekend. Huuuuge thanks to Jock and Baggins for all their help in the pissing rain. Not sure I've seen one on a grey Zed before - am well pleased with the results! Just need those J Spec front fog lights now  CheerZ Steve :)
  22. Ah, c'mon John! Very interested in this as well... Steve :)
  23. I got away with something similar to this once. I was chased by two people on my way back from London at about 1am on a week night. They were driving right up my arse and we were doing over 60 in a 30 zone. We stopped at a red light and the bloke drove in front of me and blocked the road. He then jumped out with what looked like a baseball bat and ran at my car. I slammed it into reverse and managed to get away, but in my haste I slid sideways into a roundabout and fvcked up my rear wheel. Got home (only 5 mins away) and was suddenly confronted by 2 x area cars and a van all with blues and 2s on. Turned out it had been 2 coppers on their way to work in Croydon  The coppers had never identified themselves and I was pretty pissed off with them. The senior officer let me off (after the breathalyser showed all clear) when I complained of the "intimidatory driving" of his colleagues. Still cost me about £220 for a replacement wheel  Not the same scenario obviously, but the "intimidatory driving" angle may be an option... CheerZ Steve :)
  24. lol - topless model. Well I had been considering a career change... ROFL at Maccas one ;) Steve :)
