brake master cylinder
Only thing I can tell you is the master cylinder on my car has a different socket to the plug on my loom so I'm guessing it was swapped at some point

Injector part numbers
I just took a damaged injector out of my fuel rail and was just about to replace it with another from my spare engine when I noticed the part numbers were different although identical colours and plug type. Original part number: 1m50 0y14n 2 New part number: 1m50 9x13d 1 Are these the same apart from part numbers? Just different years?

Greedy profec b spec 1 help
All hoses should be as short as possible, I've heard a few accounts of problems with balance bar to solenoid being to long. I have a pic on my computer of where mine was fitted previously which was around the drivers wing area, I'll find it tomorrow night and post it got you. I made the same mistake trying to find manual myself, spent ages looking everywhere but the most obvious!

Insurance question
I think it was Footman James who were the only ones who would give me a classic policy mate. Some just just no mods, some allowed a few mods but mines to much for them and other required a garage overnight While I remember im still waiting for you to tell me the names of these body shops around the Norwich area that you recommend from that other thread?

Insurance question
Basically if you fail to mention any modifications to the car you are not insured in the event of a claim and the other annoying thing I have found is that alot of companies will not quote for a modified car on a classic policy

Water inside my bootlid
Thanks for the replies guys. Won't be the wiper grommet as I have no wiper but I did wonder about the Perspex strip as well but I'd imagine there are just a few bolts going through the lid so not much chance of large amounts if water getting in. I have a plan, I'll remove the plastics and put some talc or chalk poser around potential areas then check for run marks after some rain

Thanks Jimmer!
Thanks for the reply Si. I will defo need to get another nut then so im guessing the only way I can get this is to make a call to Germany and see if they can send me one over, any other suggestions?

Water inside my bootlid
A couple of times when i've left my cover off the Zed i've then opened the boot to have water come out from the inside plastic surround. Has anyone else experienced this and if so where is the ingress happening, im presuming the window seal but it looks fine and the spoiler looks like it's sealed as well. I've searched the net but only found one thread relating to this that was vague.

fitting AFR GAUGE
That's the only one I really looked at to be honest mate as it will work with my AEM EMS. They look good and are easy to read, cheapest I saw was about £150 I think

fitting AFR GAUGE
I've had a look into this mate. Basically the standard O2 sensors are narrowband so won't give an accurate reading. My friend did this on his Supra and it looks 'skitty' when viewing the gauge. A wideband setup is the only thing worthwhile to read off a gauge. You'll need to pick a bank and install the wideband with a threaded collar welded into the exhaust. When you do this make sure it's done so the sensor won't be sitting in a puddle of condensation from the exhaust. I was looking at installing a wideband sensor in each bank and having a switch to swap the reading shown on the gauge. In theory this works but when I contacted AEM who's gauge im going to use they said it will cause the sensor that's not in use to foul. Not sure why it would do this but that's what they said. The other option is to have two sensors and gauges if you want to be able to read both banks.

Insurance
I used them for my daily last year. Prior to travelling I had no claims discount but became void as I was a way so long, I explained this to Sky and they said they'd give me two years at the end of the year. I asked if i'd actually get a renewal certificate stating I had 2 years no claims and was told a definate yes. When it came to renewal this didn't happen so called to query and was told, we can't do that it's illegal you were probably told you'd get 2 years 'discount'. That's not what they said but there's not much I can do about it. Anyway Adrian Flux kicked their renewal quote into the ditch so im with them now. Apart from that the service was fine but I was lied to to get a sale so they won't get my business again.
