  1. Starter changed, problem gone, well so far so good. Thanks Jeff for your advice and direction on this. Solved the problem for £30!
  2. £250 on ebay, with good rubber. Collected them from North London this morning. Rears are 17" x 9.5JJ and fronts are 8.5JJ. Tyres are 225 all round so the back stretch looks stupid IMHO. Anyway, can't complain for the money and fine to use on my test day next week.. Then I'll get my 255s back on the rear! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. For what its worth, I've got full driftworks setup on a TT with NA Subframe. All Fits fine.
  4. I'll be there but not in the Z.
  5. Is that a boost controller/turbo timer I spy through the steering wheel?
  6. Hi and welcome!
  7. one of the first mods I ever did. Aluminium shaft from Z1 Motorsports..
  8. Mine is wired in to the pod with the hazard lights. no pics but I remember it being simple....
  9. Think you’ll be lucky to get this done in a working day. Having replaced all my bushes last year I easily spent well over an hour on each one of the 4 subframe bushes. Diff bushes were easy in comparison. Add to this the time to take the diff off, frame off, all back on….. I did not have a workshop with all the best tools to hand but I’d think two days would be more realistic. Just my opinion….
  10. That's crazy. Can you imagine how many hours went in to building that!
  11. That's where my plate is......
  12. I take it they need to bend the plastic to match the window... What thickness is recommended for the rear / side windows? I would be thinking 2/3mm.
  13. Yes, all glass still. Need to find somewhere to get LWB plastic windows...
  14. No I've not. Just used the philosophy of if it doesn't make the car go fast or save your life then get rid.
  15. Total weight of car without driver is 1372.5kg Corner weights with driver are: Front L = 417 R = 400 Rear L = 289 R = 365 This is with low fuel (light on).
  16. Today I did an engine, gearbox and diff oil change, replaced the starter motor for one that hopefully does not stick. I adjusted the hand brake, fitted window trim and replaced the passenger side scuttle panel for one that does not crack if you breath on it...
  17. 1470kg with me in it. Need forged wheels and to replace the glass. Then chop every bracket and cut every bit out that I don't need. Or just buy a SWB slick top and start again...... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Yes, corner weights were checked. I need more weight on the passenger side! Also got some good advice on how to cut more weight out...
  19. Can't do that. She would find out some how. She always does.......
  20. Ok, so today I learnt that having a complete set of fully adjustable DriftWorks rear suspension take an experienced race engineer 6 hours to do the alignment at a cost of just under £500 to the owner  You can imagine the conversation with the wife did not go well....:scared:
  21. Unfortunately I've not tested it yet. My test day is on 19th May and I'll be giving it a good hard time and let you know what I think and how I find it. It's having the wheels aligned today ready for testing. Not an easy task with a full DriftWorks setup..... Started the NA swap a year ago and I've not driven it since - except in and out of the garage:sad:
  22. Couldn't resist paying a visit...
  23. Let her out for some fresh air, then packed her up and sent her off to Tolman Motorsport to have her wheels aligned the traditional way.
