  1. Hope that's what they think too...
  2. After deciding to keep her on the road, I thought I'd best get this out of the way. Only done about 40miles since the last MOT but it's been a year of axel stands, diff, subframe and suspension changes along with the full vinyl wrap.... :sweatdrop:
  3. be a bit faster than my 1.6 diesel focus estate then......
  4. :no::no::no: I'll just be leaving my PRofec B-specII settings as they are: Boost Mode Lo Hi set 55 75 gain 15 10 start boost 40 120 warning 5.0 10.5 limiter 10 3 Wish i could understand it all...:headvswal
  5. General tinkering, replaced power and extinguisher cables, fixed the hazzard switch mount with a lot of glue and checks for the MoT on Friday:scared: oh, and realised that on my last track day I was only running 4psi boost as the controller was set to low :whistling:
  6. I have a stock auto engine. It's chipped, has had the filter and exhaust modded and i've a Profec B controller. I've always had the controller set to 14psi but would like to know the reasons for not setting it to 21psi. I know that with my auto tubs i can't hold 14 psi at the top of the revs so i expect if it can achieve 21psi it will be over an even shorter rev range. This is all to get the best 1/4 mile times with what i've got.
  7. I did. Firstly it's very standard. Has remote locking and stereo added. Think it's a DVD player but i could not turn it on. Engine: Everythings where it should be and i could not see anything missing or out of place. Boot: spare wheel, tools, blind/cover is there and there is also a car cover. Outside: dull faded paint, except for one door which is a different shade of red.... MOT repair patch on the rear sill (they said it cost £150 to repair): but of rust on the rear arch on the drivers side too but not rotten. Wheels are corroded but reasonable tyres Brakes were standard and dampers were standard type. They were yellow and i don't know what colour the standard ones are. From what i could see underneath, it was relatively clean. Inside i would describe as tatty. very worn everything. Speedo clock looked like it's had a cheap aftermarket backing and it touches the needle so it can't reach 0mph. Think this is a Jap Spec car...(no emergency flare) So what does not work: Wing mirrors won't adjust and only the passenger folds in. No Air Conditioning Radio Test drive. Surprisingly OK. brakes are fine, upshift is fine. No Prop bearing wobble. There is a bit of rear shudder when you pull off fast but i think that may be the sub frame or diff bushes. fan belt squeals until its warmed up but engine sounds and feels fine. Can't comment on the power as i've only driven TTs so dont know what it should feel like. Sorry! Overall for under £1200 it's a working 300ZX. Its no show car but could be a project. Hope that helps abit.
  8. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  9. I can visit on Friday at lunch time.
  10. Well that's how you grab everyone's attention! I once had to eat a whole 300ZX!
  11. NA Clutch Pedal Assembly to replace my broken TT Pedal and booster.
  12. Please stop laughing. I know it's a long shot and almost comical, but i need one as my booster is leaking. I know some will just live with a heavy pedal but I'm a wimp and need some help. Alternatively, does anyone have a spare working booster?
  13. I went, but it still was not there. I'll next be driving past on Tuesday and will have a quick look then if it's back. I get the feeling it's having quite a bit of work done.....
  14. Well, I went to see it and it wasn't there. Apparently it's "having some work done for the MOT - nothing drastic". He said it will be back tomorrow so I'll visit again on Friday to take a look if you still want me too. Chris.
  15. Looks like it's in the car garage by the Ford Dealer on London Road. Well, that's where the pictures are taken. It just so happens I pass there on my way home from work. I'll pop in tomorrow very quickly on my way home but could spend more time on friday afternoon...
  16. Haven’t got a Catia STL licence…. Any chance of a Step or Iges?
