Vac piping size question
Well......... A vacuum is relative to ambient air pressure also known as Gauge pressure. Ambient air pressure is 1 bar when referenced against a perfect vacuum also known as Absolute pressure. So if you have 0.6 bar vacuum on you gauge, relative to Absolute pressure you still have 0.4 bar of pressure to flow. So it’s correct to say that a vacuum can flow. Hope this make sense

Coventry MotoFest Festival Weekend
Coventry MotoFest 2015 is an amazing, fun motoring based festival for the the whole family, which will take place on the weekend of 29th, 30th and 31st May 2015. Just wondering if any one is going. You can display your car if it's more than 20 yeas old so that covers most of us... https://coventrymotofest.com/get-involved Looks like a good day out.

What did you do to your zed today?
'Scrabble factor', yeah, good way of putting it. I'm still undecided if my NA swap was worth it. 1/4 mile times down due to poor launches. Need to invest in more sticky tyres and try again. Would also say the short shifter is the other mod that has slowed me down as it's to easy to miss 3rd gear...

Diff bushes in subframe (removal)
Yes and yes but my car is for the track and comfort, noise are low on my list of priorities. I also have solid diff bushes so I can hear the diff very clearly.

Diff bushes in subframe (removal)
But if you do throw them away. You can fit solid aluminium bushes from Z1. [emoji12]

Pendine speed week
Exactly Gaz, Thanks. Unfortunately this will probably be the first and last event this year before the tax, insurance and MOT run out in June. Then she’ll have a year off tucked up in the garage until my car budget gets reinstated by the other half...

Pendine speed week
The only reason I’ve got this car is to enter events and have fun with it. I’m thinking that a few trips flat out up the beach won’t hurt her and it will be a great experience which is why I do it.. That said, I’m think a good jet wash all over will be a good idea.

My one was from demon tweeks. Had the spline shaft welded directly on to the steering shaft.

What did you do to your zed today?
Took her out to stretch her legs for the first time since September. Forgot how fast she was and scared myself, then put her back to bed.

Full poly bush kit...
Yeah, don’t know how relevant my opinion is on the ride quality.. For me it’s fine. It’s bumpy and loud but then again the interior is stripped as it’s a track car and not a daily drive. Can’t really comment on how it would make a standard car feel. I would poly bush the whole lot if the subframes are off. Then it’s one less thing to bite you in the future..

Full poly bush kit...
If it helps, I got my kit from z1. I also got the solid subframe and diff bushes. If you get new roll bar bushes be careful to order the correct size because I belive there are 3 diameters and they sent me US size for my JDM.

Clutch servo issue?
There should be a one way valve in the vac pipe. If your servo is leaking it won't affect your boost.

God I need some colour?
Green is a good colour for a zed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
