  2. Well, let's just say that a NA diff swap alone does not knock a second off your 1/4 mile time. More details and pics to follow when I get home.
  3. Well, at least I'll be the fastest 300ZX there!
  4. You have to join the Brighton and Hove Motor Club and then you can enter the Handicap Class once you have all the MSA approved kit and paid for your licence. Check out their website, it explains the process quite well.
  5. No, I've only managed one track day and then been busy moving house. I get one practice run there.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Car's clean and prepped. Ready for the drive down on Friday.
  7. Thanks, I entered in 2010 but the wife was overdue our first baby so I was not able to make it.
  8. Thanks Gaz. She is lighter than back in 2011 (few bits removed and forged wheels) and has a NA Diff conversion – the green/orange wrap should also make it go faster… I’ve read that the diff conversion can knock one second from your quarter mile time. Time to put that to the test!
  9. Well, it’s that time of year again. 6th September I’ll be competing in the Brighton National Speed Trials. The Trial is held over a track which is a quarter of a mile in length, on a straight tarmac surfaced roadway, running Eastward from the start. It’s a standing start individually timed event. I’ve not competed since 2011 where I achieved a time of 13.52 with a terminal of 108mph 2012 I spectated as my wife was due to have a baby and I was ‘on call’, someone also died in a side car crash. 2013 was cancelled due to the death in 2012. There is a fantastic range of cars and bikes and is a great day out for all. Entry list.pdf Think it’s about £12 to get into the paddock but well worth it. If you decide to go, please come and say hi! Practice runs start at 09:00 and I’ll be one of the first so get there early.
  10. These have been bouncing around in my lights for years. Good to know what they are!
  11. I have a 17" kenlowe fan. Never had any temp issues. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, but if I hide it in the garage and park my 13 plate focus on the drive, I'll blend in....
  13. My new home!!!! Moved house today and she has a new cosy bed to sleep in.
  14. Funds permitting, I'll be there next year...

  17. I believe, from my understanding, the wastegate exhaust will be separate from the turbo outlet exhaust stream, so there will be less turbulence at the mouth of the turbo. This should equal better spool time and increased horsepower.... But no ideal if it actually works...

  19. With. You have divorced down pipes, the block keeps them divorced. Without you'll miss the benefit of having divorced pipes. Also, I fitted mine with.....:smartass:
  20. I'll make the 8.2 mile drive again for sure. Well worth it!
  21. I have a Z1 shifter and it make you need to think about changes. On a 1/4 run, i've often missed 3rd gear because you really have to think about it. If you're standard one is working, just keep that...
