  1. don't forget to stick "oceanic" by Vangelis on your cd player tomorrow morning ;)
  2. f****K :( :headvswal  .........in all fairness, how could he? ....because he couldn't give a shite about cars thats why. 1994 zed for 3900 is a good buy even with overheating probs. but this owner is obviously a guy who buys fast cars , abuses them, sells then buys another. you made the right decision.
  3. just sent him a question, are these wheels manufactured by nismo,...or nizmo..should be interesting.
  4. well could you answer my email then Chris? :D
  5. Pete?
  6. Yep, got the same, and makes a lovely whoooshing sound. I'm told it increases n/a by 8-10 bhp.

Afraid not, think the only answer is HID kits i've heard of. Possibly brighter bulbs , but at least its summertime and you're not having to drive to and from work in the dark, so you might be sorted by the winter! But you're right , It's hard to believe a "supercar" has such crap lights.
  9. thats my mind made up then :xxx:
  10. cheers, I obviously drive in grandad mode most of the time then :o :o :o
  11. seeing that most zeds are now 10-15 year olds, i think instead of trying to compete with modern cars, we should be giving our cars T.L.C. and a good high speed run now and then. We just can't keep up with the technology being put into new cars nowadays, so overmodifying might beat some beemer off the lights, but it's not going to be good in the long run, (unless you're loaded stupid and don't give a sh*t). I don't think most of the members on here are loaded, so c'mon guys, lets just look after our zeds. :)
  12. few weeks back i was getting into the car , and a guy took a picture of it on his mobile, then said "go on, hit the limiter(or something like that)" On the way home tonight two boy racers pulled up beside me while i was stopped in traffic and asked me the same thing :o .........does something magical happen when you hit the limiter?don't know what this means, just dont wanna be embarrassed next time!
  13. Thats a very nice zed fella, very clean, and that pearlescent white is a GOOD colour. If i ever buy another zed, thats what it'll be. I reckon in years to come, a good original example of a pearlescent white 300zx is gonna be worth more money.

This is interesting because a few months ago my car stalled while slowing down to take a sharp bend. Interesting because just before reaching that bend, I had hit a pothole deep enough to completely dislodge the airfilter housing (previous owner had removed the air filter :wack: and not secured the housing back in place properly). Of course this meant MAF went with it, all this I discovered the following day. But while I was trying to repair the MAF, plugging the connector in and out while the car was idling did not stall it.
  15. I was curious about this a while ago but got no decent replies either, but at a guess i would reckon ........3-400. Driveable ones.
  16. Holy Jasus!!!! ..........some woman from limerick won the feckin' thing. My only way of dealing with the jealousy is by telling myself this woman's life will be turned upside down. Consequences? they are gonna be big. If she gives every family member a million each, goes on a trip round the world and comes back a year later, what will she find? We all have families, but certain types of people are gonna do silly things. Consequences. scary really.
  17. As above, but stay on here a while and read up, do a few searches before you buy anything. Seen a few new members do this recently, and has worked in their favour. ;)
  18. The only stickers that should be seen on a zed are NISSAN.................................TWIN TURBO FAIRLADY Z...........................TWIN TURBO FAIRLADY Z.......................................... AMEN
  19. agree with you jock, but i guess they've got different vehicles for different purposes. But it is a scandalous amount of money spent. If they had a guy who knows motors at the head of the traffic division, i'm sure a bit of discretion could be used. Also, there must be a few garages around the country who make a massive profit from "servicing" these vehicles . Irish cops certainly don't get these perks, they're stuck in old mondeos, 4x4's are nissan terrano's.
  20. definitely keep the zed, not interested in any other car, but I'd make myself sooooooooo famous with my 77 million, clarkson would have to ask me on "star in a reasonably priced car". I would then head straight for the studio and run over that little hamster who once called the zed a car for "big fat americans".
  21. I ,too, have had a number of beers and just completely forgotten the wonderfully thought out reply. :wack: probably just as well.....Hic! And thanks, but i used to enjoy the movie in ignorant bliss...
  22. Cheers Pete, sounds ideal, see you there! Do many Zedders turn up at this sort of meet then? Won't have my own Zed with me, a bit unfair to the kids to make them sit in the back for that length of time I reckon! Managed to talk my old man into lending me his new Range Rover though , so that's some consolation :hyper:
