Friday
LOL! Friday's got to be the one without the backpack. He's the GTO owner with his little pack of supplies in case the traction control blows up and he can't drive it on his own

Which year should I go for?
I'm warming to them every day. If only I had 66,000 euro...or even 66 come to think of it   ... But as they're still quite new there will have to be a tt version soon?

300zx 1 BMW M3 0
I hate everything bmw. But I did like Clarksons road test on the new m5 recently on top gear . Especially the bit when you press the m button on the steering wheel and the seats close in around you, tuck you in nicely and the car takes on a different persona. That is S*it cool. Reckon we should have a ZED button

honda nsx
extremely rare then. Must be because of price. But why are they still so expensive?

Grey smoke on cold startup.
I nearly always let mine run for about 5 mins in the morning before i head to work, and theres always a lot of grey/blue smoke before I head off. But then its fine, not so much as a puff on acceleration or normal driving. Dunno if that's any help

Record breaking petrol - ffs
and you can expect a lot more on the coming weeks :( But i'm sure there are a lot of people in the US right now who couldn't give a shite about the price of petrol :(

Which year should I go for?
Except for the ptu and seatbelts issue , theres not much difference. The cars history and condition is the most important factor. By the way i've looked at zeds for sale in holland and germany, and saw some crazy prices. 10k to 18k for 91,92 models, As you're in finland i guess a trip to the UK for one is a bit far , but well worth it. Especially if you buy from a member here.

weekend use or everyday use??

Hurricane Katrina Mother nature or something else?
Was thinking today while watching those poor desperate people in the US . George Bush firstly. Since he's been president , through all the major terrorist attacks , natural disasters and wars he's involved in, not once....NOT ONCE has he ever come across as genuine on any interview he's given. Always looks a bit dim to be honest.Even watching him now on the news hugging victims of the hurricane, patting them on the back. He just doesn't look genuinely sympathetic. A hurricane comes along and hits probably the most vulnerable spot in the US , kills thousands, makes him look very bad, and hits major oil supplies, one of mr. Bushes favorite things. Is it payback time for him? I never usually give this stuff much thought (obviously, most of you will say!) and i'm not usually supersticious either. But hasn't the world got particularly nasty in the last couple of years? Or has it always been like this?

Any insurance companies do cheap short term insurance?
This is just the beginning.....Get used to it!

Any Thoughts On This ???
If i was living in the UK, the journey to have a look would be worth the risk. Something about the ad makes me think it's genuine and as already said probably just a ptu.

honda nsx
I do think the NSX is a cool car, always had a bit of a fascination with them. But......the rear end..why is it so ugly? :( From every other angle its a superb looking car. The Zed however looks perfect from every angle. Also, the last time i looked at autotrader they were serious money. Not sure why, maybe because they are quite rare . I'd still like to own one though.

how tall are u guys??
oh Sh*t, sorry trying to fix it! goddamn computers!!!!

how tall are u guys??
6 'and a bit. And yeah, great thing about the zed is the leg and head room. you'd never think it from the outside.

rough estimate on bodywork please
Thats what I am planning, but as I said machanical issues come first. Guess I'll have to see whats left after that. It's a mighty big risk spending all that cash for cosmetic reasons, so i've got to be sensible about this. Having said that, if the garage gives me the all clear that the car is in top shape ......mmmmmmmmm...

rough estimate on bodywork please
I'll be taking my zed to the UK soon for some suspension problems that need sorting. But if my budget will stretch , i'm hoping to have some mods on the bodywork . Just a rough estimate for anyone who's had similar work done. 99 spec front spoiler side skirts removal of stock spoiler, filled and sprayed( plus the pvc panel of course) rear bumper to enclose 5" exhaust. all of the above sprayed and fitted. Would £1,500 to £2000 cover it?

tbars
Lol Its all politically correct here now. What takemetothepub really meant was...I understand you could be a slow typist and by the time you finished you found two replies :) Ive had 3 Zeds in 6 years and never had a leaky roof.

Enough is enough
I was warned about this site before I signed up that it was basically a "clique" . Yep, a lot of you guys know each other and have a go now and then. But I do find it's a great freindly and informative site, replies are given to help and advice with humour sometimes which is harmless. But again it's the going off topic too much ( yes i do it aswell) which is the bad thing. I joined a couple of Irish car forums and found the very same thing. But on a positive note I see a lot of new members on here complimenting the site a lot. That can't be bad.
