300zx, fairladyZ, twin turbo, donutmaking machine, a drifters dream.... call it what you will. On the way home tonite from work my Z stalled and died.probably the ptu. but d'you know what? I still love it and will pay whatever it costs to repair it even though i cant afford it.. Why??. because im passionate (my mrs. calls it obsessive!) about the Z. After 6 years of owning these cars i have absolutely no interest in supras, mr2's, gto's etc. Before it broke down tonite it must have turned 50-60 heads, struck up arguments between teenagers about what it was, and most importantly gave me a big smile driving it. Im sure a lot of you guys feel the same way, thats why this forum is here. My way of introducing myself. Hi!!!

hi jap spec bulbs can be got from Mike Feeney at mjp on the forum , i bought a couple last year for around £20 each which is quite reasonable.

cheers for the advice legrath just finished mine tonite , definitely messy, but definitely worth it for that kind of bucks. ive got black glue on my hands, face, hair and most of my screwdrivers...........and just realised..... my keyboard :headvswal must post pic when i put them back in tomorrow

hi Unfortunately the standard lights on all zx's are quite poor. there are ways around it by turning your fog lamps into driving lights or getting a HID kit (mike feeney at mjp eastern auto can tell you more). I 've never found changing bulbs to make much of a difference

Hi, I've had leather on my last 2 zed's, but as nice as it looks i have memories of my first one which had tweed and i think it held me in place better on cornering..........maybe i'm getting fatter...

T-pot What sort of polish/wax did you use for that pic?!!! Last year I travelled to the UK to buy a black zx but was disappointed in the original paint colour in the car. Very bland looking, having previously owned silver , grey , and now a red zx I've now got the bug for a black one again!!

Hi Guys, Up wales!!!!! fantastic display in the rugby today, if i can get the funds together i,d love to take a trip over for the game in two weeks. Loads of people heading over in buses from here but i think i,d prefer a long spin in my redtt'!
