Cheers, yes it is. Pity it's fibreglass though, it's a curse on parking. at least the 99 spec front is eurethane (sort of rubbery plastic) and takes a lot more hardship

Thankyou, that's been very helpful. My leather is really starting to look it's age. Bit of work involved there, but after doing the d.i.y re-trim job on my panels 2 years ago I would at least have some idea what i'm doing. Theres a great choice of colours too, hoping to go fully tan or cream. For around £500 pounds it seems pretty decent value to have a completely new interior complete with new car smell. :cool:

Anyone got the kit for their seats? Very temping,especially the great choice of colour.If i were to buy I would probably try the D.I.Y job myself and just wondering if there are any happy/unhappy owners who have them fitted.

I have to disagree. the rear lights are what give it great character from the rear. it's unmistakably a 300zx. Much prefer the 99 spec though because the amber indicators are not nice

I know what you guys are saying greg, but as i said the pic could decieve. Worth checking out though. When it's in the garage next week getting the manwell conv. I'll ask the mechanic to have a look cos i wouldn't have a clue. one thing i do remember is when I bought this car there was a black one i looked at the week before and which really seemed to hug the ground and looked a lot lower. I'll try and get a better pic.

Nope David, it's not been lowered. After my pothole incindent there were new standard shocks and springs put in. sig pic may be a bit decieving because of the low rear bumper. when it's parked level I can't help but look at the front and think it needs to be an inch lower. I get caught out on kerbs anyway so i'm not worried about that.

i'd like to lower the car a bit but wondering how it will sit on the 18's. As it is if im driving hard and hit a swell in the road the tyres rub against the arches. Would this get worse with lowered springs? Also could someone recommend wher to buy some that suit the z, thanks

Have to agree, the cheapest way of an increase in bhp are boost jets and chip (if you pm John Dixon on here he'll help you out) I did the job a couple of months back and found the power increase exactly what i needed. Theres a link on how to do the job on here i'm sure someone has it. By the way , if you decide to go with boost jets don't buy any off ebay for ridiculous prices because they are what legrath said ,simple welders tips. Go to any welders suppliers and you'll get them for a couple of quid.

nice one,wiping out a porsche of any sort with a z is good news. cayman is a completely pointless porsche anyway , not to mention pug ugly.

sorry to butt in but how much are new stock turbo's roughly? I was told few years ago they weren't that expensive, it was just pulling the engine thats the problem.
