changing the pedals manual conv.
I've searched and searched but is there any info on doing the pedals for the man. conversion. I'm thinking brake pedal could be just "shaved off" a bit,I have a pedal to put in if not. If anyone knows of any other links than z1 motorsports? I'm trying to print off as much info as i can for the garage, I think it would of help great help to him. He's a good mechanic but never worked on a 300 before so any time saving, frustration saving tips would be extremely grateful. he reckons the pedals will be the trickiest bit. I found loads of lists for the conversion parts needed on a search, but not too much info on what not to do, common mistakes etc. thanks in advance :)

Do tt's and n/a have the same clutch setup?
I may be in need of a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for my manual conversion (tt by the way) because the ******* I bought it from removed it just before the gearbox and bit's etc. were shipped. i know of a n/a breaking here in ireland and just wondered if they are the exact same parts. cheers

Keighley Sports and Performance
Shit, they really are bad. I nearly bought from them 3 years ago. Only reason i didn't is because the saleman refused to drive some of the way to meet me off the ferry so i said f*ck him........now glad i did

How come there is 53 members
lol thanks Dave I feel better now, and the great comments i've been getting the last few days from members is really helping to take the sting out of the couple of grand i'm throwing at it for the manwell conversion. Can't believe I was going to sell up a few months back. Very glad I didn't :)

Have NISSAN changed the design of their PCV valves?
Sorry lol im a bit confused. i remember posting a turbo problem a while back and it was suggested pvc valves needed may need replacing. I got shit scared and didn't bother because i'm a mechanical moron ( as you can tell :) ) so now i guess there are pvc valves for different things. Anyone got a shovel :o

Item's for sale section doesn't make good reading
Just been looking through there and found a few items seem to be for sale which have already been "sold" and paid for by some pretty pissed off (understandably) members. It doesn't look good for the club and it's visitors. How often does this go on? At the moment i'm awaiting delivery of something I paid for weeks ago and i'm getting messed about. I don't want to mention names as of yet, but i'm beginning to feel even more worried now after reading some of the threads where people are getting ripped off. I understand it's impossible to check on private sellers. it's left to trust and goodwill. Over the years i've bought and sold items from very decent members with no problem. If you think about it it would be quite easy to come on here, subscribe for a few weeks , advertise some expensive parts get paid for them and then f*ck off with the cash. It's a pity there isn't another payment system. Sorry to bring this up but couldn't help it

Who's watching the rugby
What a result, great opening match. We're in this "pool of death" too so who's going out of this group to the quarter finals is anyones guess. How did you guys get on today with USA? was working and haven't heard a result yet. Was listening to the all blacks v Italy on the radio, Italy got their arses whooped bigtime.

Have NISSAN changed the design of their PCV valves?
Sorry to butt in but i'm thinking of doing the same thing, Are they easy enough to get at? I thought anything to do with turbo maintenance means engine out.

New Autobox, Smoke
I've in exactly the same boat, i've been driving with only 1st and second for about a month now while awaiting manual conversion, just short trips around the village. The temptation is there to floor it all the time but i don't want to screw my engine up too!

Your zed- an every day car?
I've been driving z's since 2001,n/a and tt and find them them as reliable as any family car, even more so in some cases. Since becoming self employed I use the van a lot more now so it's usually only weekends and basically whenever I get the time. In 7 years only once was i left stranded, and that was because the MAF had become unplugged. Well cared for, these cars are extremely reliable and I reckon we'll still be seeing them around for years to come.
