I'm in danger now of being a serial whinger :( my z has been taken off the lift and left out in the rain with a half done conversion. I promised the garage all week the parts would arrive, i don't blame them. It's been shuffled back into the queue so another week or so to go.

Hang on in there , we've all been down this road! could be something simple. I felt the same way when my autobox went couple of months back, throwing a few grand at it now to get it manwelled. The z can test your patience sometimes, but it's the love-ability that always gets us back behind the wheel. I don't think the designers in their wildest dreams could've imagined it would be still around today and still as popular as the when the first one rolled off the production line.

Yep it is an Irish Idea as fooking usual. Remember the smoking ban?! began here in 04 now in the UK, so you guys have got at least a 3 year head start. Craig David is correct in saying they are illegal, i've been stopped a few times at checkpoints and told by the way your exhaust is illegal and it's in my power to take.....blah blah blah...but they never do, no-one is quite sure what to do. Unfortunately it's the messers in souped up novas and starlets tearing around street corners in the middle of the night which are going to make this stick eventually. If any of the traders have any sense here they will be stockpiling oem z exhausts :( , gonna make a big kill on them in a couple of years.

erm just an example from a member I was speaking with today. She was in a garage in Dublin who had 2 z's for sale. One was a "TT" with no stock boost gauge :xxx: After pointing this out and telling him she drives a z tt which does have a boost gauge he told her sorry love yours isn't a real fairlady, it's the cheaper English version , the real mcoy doesn't have a boost gauge, cos he don't sell cheap cars with modifications. :rolleyes: only ones with a foot of grass growing around it, fithy smell and a whiny gearbox....but don't worry he's got 4 spare gearboxes (he's got a wharehouse full god bless him)..................THIS IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol......................BUY FROM HERE :)
