  2. Holy s*it, sorry about that, she was a georgeous z what a shame! looks like you couldn't care less now though, you've got a new little honey!!
  3. jees i've missed loads on here. have you sold you're black beauty??
  4. Reversing out a carpark today , which was fine when i parked it, but a van and a people carrier had me sandwiched in when i got back with my chinese and dvd. Pissing rain, windows fogged up, you know the story. Anyway, i stalled it (auto, even worse!) and a big roar came from a pub behind me where a group of guys were out having a fag and i was giving them great entertainment by my manouvering. "hahaha go on ya big dickhead in you're twin turbo"............i wasn't having a great day so far anyway i rolled down the window, looked back and shouted " what did you say?" They all looked at each other in surprise with big sarcy grins on their faces . I opened the door and went to get out when one pipes up "I was only messin' just trying to help you that's all....." "no problem" i replied and sat looking at him for about 5 seconds.he put his fag out , went back inside and the rest of mates pissed themselves laughing lol
  5. Hi david, this a new Z you're talking about? if so delighted for ya!
  6. OK then that's definite, i'll try a post at Zclub.net , There is a red 240z and a 280z in the southeast , i've seen them on a couple of occasions over the last year or so. hopefully they are members. So it's 1 oclock at the beehive sunday 27'th may. Let's all hope it's a t-top day :hyper:
  7. beehive sounds good to me, that ok with everyone else? it's only 2 weeks away remember....
  8. oh the nightmares those two words bring to me :D glad you got it sorted. How many screws left over when it was finished? think I had 8
  9. sorry adam it's cars i'm counting here not people :D tell you what if i bring my toy 300zx along you can hold it and then you'll count as a Z............
  10. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD :nana2: it's like a different car completely. apart from the extra boost it idles and sounds better. Only thing is the auto. it has never bothered me before, but now it seems to be lazy at changing 2-3rd.I'm sure i read the autobox has it's own ecu somewhere and that could be modified somehow to fall in line with the extra power? Boost jets are 1mm and It's boosting at around 12 psi, not crazy stuff I know but safe enough to live with.
  11. nice z fella! How do you manage Irish roads with that front spoiler lol! hope to see you at the Irish meet...
  12. So far then , myself, tulip, anto 300, tantric french, dmaprelude...and hopefully more from zclub.net. Looking good
  13. I'm racking my brains for a good location, how about Jack whites pub, or Johnny foxes?( never actually been there and don't know if the car park is big enough) Trish?
  14. good stuff, I'll keep in touch with you over the coming weeks Trish for final location and time. Suzy that's a great idea, sorry i havn't renewed rescription over there, even feel guilty about logging on now! My little honey was off the road for a while. I'm sure there are a couple of Irish members at Zclub.net?Matter of fact yourself and Chris should come on over for a late honeymoon? :p
  15. wow , good to see other high milers come on and admit it. As said earlier these cars are too easily clocked. At least owning the same car for a good number of years showing high mileage you know where you stand. i remember my first Z bought at luton airport from a big guy with tattoos telling me this was a "minter" with 48k on the clock. Thought I was nobodies business driving home with strings hanging from the steering wheel, stereo facia ripped out carpet ripped to shreds and a big wet spongy rear spoiler with the silver paint flaking off...........lol...oh forgot to mention PTU went the next day.. :D
  16. Not bad !! c'mon any higher??
  17. Show off!!
  18. Just wondering if there is any extreme mileage reading on any of the z's here. I read threads so often beginning with "i've got a 1990 z with 55k on it........" I'll start the bidding with 132k. (did have a KPH to MPH conversion before I bought it so only god knows the real mileage) . Love to know of any 200k plusses
  19. Calling on Tulip , Kersh and any new owners (not forgetting you Adam!) for Sunday May 27'th at a location to be agreed upon.I was thinking about Wicklow or portlaoise? (sorry for posting this here but ireland isn't covered in the meets/events section)
  20. lovely stuff, i'll txt him now, Thanks ;)
  21. I have a friend in the welding business who is kindly getting me a couple of 1.0mm welding tips to use as boost jets. I have a chip I got from John dixon ages ago so now getting around to it. The welder guy is not sure which diameter (outer) tips to bring me, says theres hexagonal shapes and all different sizes. Anyone?
  22. Can't wait to see the new paint job! good idea about a meet. Anytime suits me except 19 may, hannah's making her communion. Think i'll post up a meet thread
  23. remember that a while back, and the guy was talking about this view into the speedo or something that the 300zx had. Still don't know what he was on about :D great to see it in the top 100 though. Wasn't it a red one they used in the clip?
