Z's & their colour!
If i was to sell and buy again, pearl white like funki-si or aftermarket pearl black. I've had gunmetal grey(or whatever they call it) and silver. Silver I only had to clean once every week . Red needs to be cleaned everyday :duffer:

Photo Taking Advice
That's it in a nutshell really. digi cameras are great and allow you to change apertures and stuff manually. I find morning/evening always gives the best results. it's hard to get a true representation of colour midday or bright sunshine. The thing I don't like about digi cameras is all these pre-programmed settings that rarely give the results you want. Go manual, fiddle with it and as said, take dozens of photo's, deleting the ones you don't want. And never rely on the little screen on the back. I've taken photos that look crap on the monitor but surprised when downloaded and printed.

Z's slated by 'top' Evo tuner in JTuner mag
What a complete ****er. He should buy a decent pair of glasses before he looks at any more cars. If he had just attacked the z because it's difficult to work on, fine. But to make out it's an ugly car is plain stupid.

Chewie and Irish members.
My vrt for a 91 was around 1400 last year, most of the time they can't categorise the car so they can go above or below that, but it mainly seems to sit around 1200 euro for that year. For 6K sterling you will buy a very nice z and have change left for the VRT ;) If you are seriously intersted in buying, it would be no harm to subscribe to this site, 20 quid goes a long way here I can tell you. :)

Hi Anthony, best place to buy a decent 300 is the UK. Whether it's a jap import or a UK car they just seem better maintained, and thanks to this club, great advice and choice. Guy I know just paid a lot of money for a private import, grade A , turbo's failed after a week. You're best bet is buy one from here ,300zx.co.uk, some great examples sold here since I joined over a year ago. I'm in Waterford BTW, There's a few members in Dublin, Tulip And Kersh. Mick.

New Supra, take a look...
Spot on fella. History repeats itself. Toyota "lets wait and see what nissan do for 4 years so we can pick up on the market, make a faster car, use no forward thinking, but manage to come out better off 'cos we've got a good test platform" . I couldn't give two flying f*cks if it does o-60 in 3 seconds, z's are always at the front line.

300zx market value....will go up
That's right. In the next couple of years, values are going to rise . GTO's will not. Supra's will not. RX7's might because of their drifting abilities. But our z values are going to climb. Let's face it, every man and his dog on this site is pissed off with z's being sold for peanuts, a car that Nissan threw everything at 16 odd years ago, and now is on autotrader for £1500 or less. The Jap import market has gone crazy with modified motors. They are everywhere you look, even here in good old Ireland where 5 years ago the sight of a skyline would cause a stir. But here's the thing. Over the past year or so, simple comments made by people, from grannies to 6 year olds on my car are starting to make sense. It IS a car that makes people smile. Out of all the other jap cars from the last 10-15 years no other car has the presence of the 300zx z32. This website is proof of it. 18-75 year olds own them, drive them and recieve great fun and pleasure out of it. I don't think that will change in the next twenty years. So anyone out there thinking they've bought a shed, think again. This car is here to stay, and will pay you back in kind for the money you spend. :)

Getting very disillusioned with Zed ownership.
you've been unlucky si, simple as that. As said you're car is a class example of these great cars. I've owned three over the past 6 years and never had engine trouble with any of them. I truly hope you get sorted in some way, because I know at the back of it you're a proud owner like the rest of us :)

- Dublin Z meet today...all 4 of us....
Tulip, kersh, young300lover(doesn't own a z yet but fair play to him for turning up), and myself had a meet today, can't compare with what you guys had in the UK but definitely worth a thread as it was the first z meet I'm aware of in Ireland. I really enjoyed the ...erm...convoy...of three cars, but it may as well have been a hundred z's ! Pretty cool to see a zed in front and in your rearview mirror on the road. Great meeting you guys ,friends and family included, hope theres more meets in the future. We all took loads of pics, heres a few of them.- Took some pics of the Zed today (56k, go and have a nice long relaxing poo)
Great pics, she looks absolutely mint!! A credit to you funki-si!- irish meet this sunday 19th march
